Alright, Sade thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you take vacations? Why or why not?

Yes, definitely. I put so much work into my business that I make sure I take time for myself , and family. I need that get away to regain my thoughts , and get my mind back on track. If you don’t take a vacation I’m telling you, take you a vacation. It’s needed.

Sade, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Sade’ Hebert Ashworth, and I am the founder of Finishing Touches by Sade’. I am located in Beaumont, Tx. I have been a lifelong lover of makeup, and in 2019 I became a lash artist, and in 2021 I discovered ( PMU ) -Permanent Makeup. I am always asked the million-dollar question, how did you get this far today, and my answer is always Praying, manifestations, and trusting God. I never move unless he tells me to.

It was so many times I wanted to give up, because I would look at my books and have 3 clients, and sometimes no clients especially with brows, but I always trusted the process and I never stop learning, I never stop practicing, and most of all never gave up. The days I wanted to give up I would pray and ask God to guide me I would ask for strength, and that he give me the clientele that will trust me , and stick with me and he did just that with me being consistent and disciplining myself .

If a client come and tell me that they have an issue with my service I would make it right right away.
Example: If a client call me on a Monday and say “ my lashes not lasting long “ I will make it my business to take that client that day and make it right at no charge . I love all my clients. I have returning clients and I am very grateful for them they are the reason I’m still in business. We have a good time in the lash / brow room.

I am most proud of the fact that I never gave up, being in the lash and brow industry clients have so many artist they can choose from, and they chose me that’s a huge deal for me .

I would like for my potential clients, and followers to know I am very passionate about my work, I take everything into consideration. If I can fix it I will . I have integrity, and I live by that.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

Word of mouth! That’s the best source. I lost all my social media back in March of 2022 and I was devastated, and what kept me going was word of mouth. Make sure your clients are putting you out there. You will appreciate it.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Building a audience is not easy. I’m still building my audience on INSTAGRAM. What I have learned was you have to know your audience, you have to ask yourself what type of audience do I want? Just be consistent with social media get you a calendar and write down what day you will post videos, what day you will post something motivational , what day you will post pictures that’s what helped me.
