We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sabrian Bruton a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Sabrian, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea?

This really is a great question for myself as well, because I knew I always was Destined to become a business owner or leader in my community. I was raised by a righteous spiritual man who impacted many lives and took care of four generations before the lord called him home, he implicated morals and high values in me. I wanted to become what he stood for, but on my own two feet, life and experiences quickly begin to come at me and I begin to do as any teenager boy and got sidetracked from my true values, start hanging around the wrong people. Sending more money then actually having. Less nights praying. Moving fast because I didn’t see away out. No patience, rock bottom hit & I knew the principles of a man. Which gave me hope & a idea. (PUSHFORGREATNESS)!!! knowing my skills of a true visionary person. I brought it to life quickly. From a logo, to a T-shirt, to women activewear sets, to speaking of my life hardships and struggles at public schools & colleges. Once life become my prayers it was glory, such amazing view to witness.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?

I went through downfalls just like everybody else. I thought it was over just like everybody else. I hit rock bottom more times than any average human. I had the closest pray on my downfall. I had people make fun of me/critics. You know what makes me different, I never pointed fingers, I took full responsibility like a man. Picked up my head and got things done
like a grown man. Keep pushing, just keep pushing, it’s hard sometimes, but KEEP PUSHING… you can’t get a rainbow without going through the rain. After surviving what life through at me, I dedicated myself full time to bringing my message and greatness to panels around the world. Whether as a Mentor, Motivational speaker or a workshop leader, I break through the boundaries that are limiting others. As the founder of Pushforgreatness interacting working with at-risk youth in the community of Perrine, FL. While there were plenty of interactions between different teams, the connections between them were never utilized efficiently. I worked to establish how to form inter- and intra-network connections that allow for better pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and instill a sense of hope in the future. We all know how to start, but what are the steps that only the most greatness know about? Using my methods and techniques, will help your life and kids learn how to reach they full potential, plus into the future and feel great about the work that they are doing, both for themselves and their generation.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

Sure can, I hope this story touch many lives who have been affected by police brutality or racism, such a traumatizing experience, that would deflate you if you not strong enough to overcome fighting a whole system. Nevertheless- I/We survived and had to pivot from what assured to take me down and end me. I prevailed, and got the community behind me and the same children and grandchildren of the corrupt man and woman who tried to used there power to bring a innocent king down. Not only did I defeat them, I got everything back they purposely took from me. My drive, my passion, my dedication, my faith, my goodness, my family, my freedom.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Being consistent, having a routine, being discipline, honoring your craft, understanding your journey. Praising God and thanking him throughout the entire process. Being kind to others. Pouring into yourself. I could go on with this all day. Because your reputation is your life. Guard it like your life depends on it.
