Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rylie Fisher. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rylie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
I believe photography is more than just taking a picture, as many photographers will probably agree. You don’t shoot what it looks like, you shoot what it feels like. Ambedo means “ a kind of melancholic trance in which you become completely absorbed in vivid sensory details—raindrops skittering down a window, tall trees leaning in the wind, clouds of cream swirling in your coffee” it’s the feeling you get with small moments in life.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a photographer who’s been in the game for a little over 5 years. I’ve always loved photography and getting creative with my shots so I decided I wanted to try and make it a career. You only can remember big and small moments in your life for so long so taking those moments and being able to make them last a lifetime brings me tons of joy. Im mainly a wedding and elopement photographer and there is a lot of inconsistency these days with professionals. Not showing up, not providing what was agreed on, ect. I provide my couples with the security that they’re going to get what they were supposed to get, at the quality they were expecting. I put my heart and soul into keeping my clients happy because if they’re not happy, I’m not happy. I dont judge, I’m full of energy and support, and my ultimate goal is to be your friend, not just a “service provider”

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I actually had some help from my parents to get everything going. I had the rug kinda pulled out from under me and lost everything I had going. My parents put a little pep in my step and loaned me some money to get things back going

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
I always communicate with my clients as fast as I can. I hate having to wait for responses so I keep that mentality present for my clients. I always communicate with care and understanding.
