We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ryan White a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Ryan, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I first got into entrepreneurship because I truly wanted to make a difference in other people’s lives. When I first launched Social Revelation Marketing, it was more than just about me, it was about helping other entrepreneurs reach their dreams. After 5 years in the social media industry, I can confidently say we are the best in the business when it comes to helping personal brands and enterprises build massive online credibility, and as a result, reach their true online revenue potential.




Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am from a small town in southern Georgia – a town of around 3,000 people. We do not even have a red light in the town I am from. There is legit a stop sign in front of the courthouse. I come from parents who were both educators for the state of Georgia so it was humble beginnings to say the least.
I graduated high school in 2008 and went on to college where I majored in Accounting, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree. Since I come from a baseball background and played college baseball, I transitioned into a private baseball instructor from 2013-2017.
In 2016, I met my now wife and in that moment I made the decision to step away from baseball and into entrepreneurship with the hopes to provide us with a better life. In 2017, I launched my first company Social Revelation Marketing – a social media growth agency which specializes in helping brands build massive online credibility so they can reach their online revenue potential.
Just 18 short months after launch, SR had grown into a 7-figure agency serving over 3,000 clients from all around the globe. We pride ourselves on two fronts: 1) helping brands build massive social media audiences quickly 2) helping brands dominate the first page of Google for their keywords through media placements.
By controlling these two avenues, we help our clients build more trust, create more leverage, and establish more credibility with online prospects so they can inevitably close MORE deals FASTER.




How did you build your audience on social media?
When it comes to building a social media following, it comes down to two things: activity + driving traffic. Having a huge follower count is just the by product of having massive traffic coming to your profile consistently. You can do this either by being extremely active through posting, going viral, engaging with other users, etc. The key is to perform MASSIVE action in order to drive traffic back to you.
When I first started out for example, I was a baseball instructor. So, I would target the accounts following pages such as @MLB, @Braves, @Yankees, etc. and I would follow, like, and comment every single day on 100-200 user accounts. The key here is to be authentic and genuine especially when leaving comments. Over time, you build a ton of goodwill and others begin to notice. This builds awareness of your profile and the feeling of reciprocity as users begin doing the same back on your account.
The more you can compound these actions, the more traffic will flow to your page. You can also get creative and hire VA’s to help you do this. At one point, I had 5 people inside of my account daily performing actions on my behalf. This simple method allowed me to go from 1000 followers to over 80,000 followers in less than 6 months [this was back in 2017].
As the snowball that rolls down the mountain, when momentum picks up, it continues to scale faster and faster.




What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best and most consistent source of new clients for our agency has been the use of white-label/partner firms. These are other agencies who are re-selling our services. At our peak, we had 12 different white-label firms re-selling our services to their own client base. This allowed us to scale quickly to 600+ active clients as well as focus on improving our customer journey and providing exceptional customer support on the supply side.
Doing this also allowed us to keep our overhead low since we did not have to employ a sales team. After 5 years in business and after millions in sales, this is still by far the best strategy we have used when it comes to acquiring new business.
