Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ryan Stephens. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Ryan , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe success is measured in many different ways. A Clear vision of what success looks like to you personally is really the only way you’ll know once you have achieved it. That said, I have spent a lot of time thinking about what it looks like to me at each milestone. So to be successful, you have to have a vision of what you want to achieve in life and a plan on how to get there.
Ryan , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
In my young 20’s I got into real estate in San Diego County. Due to my marketing and branding I was able to evolve into new endevers, such as podcasting, advertising, and content creation. I found that my relentless marketing tools and outside the box methods applied in every aspect that would help businesses grow in thier niche markets exponentially. Helping business owners and entreuprenuers develop a business strategy with fresh ideas and a disciplined approach to maintaining a market presence has been highly effective. Let’s Tune In Media, Inc. is going to help businesses fuel their sales funnels while sharing their knowledge through our podcast studios and become a prominent voice in a specialized field.
Having an entrepreneur and successful business owner on board pushes our firm way beyond other agencies with insights you only gain from years of experience. My Vice President, Kyle Taylor, has spent the last two decades building businesses throughout San Diego County and the San Francisco Bay Area. He [Taylor] is responsible for building companies that have secured contracts with Google, United States Army, Jack in the Box, Servpro and many more. In San Diego he is known for his ownership and strong launch of MI-BOX a portable storage company and his commitment to helping local non-profits fundraise by volunteering countless hours of his time.
When you combine both of our skill sets and experience we provide an unrivaled balance of dedicated professionalism to helping you build your brand and share your voice.
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
The greatest resource I wish I knew about was how to ask for help. I feel that this four letter word is the single hardest thing for people to ask for. Once you learn how to ask for help effectively you will open doors and create relationships that were only available because you were brave enough to be vulnerable enough to ask for help.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The most valuable lesson I had to unlearn was putting others first and not taking time for myself. I was constantly bombarded with words and phrases like hustle, grind it out, work now so you can enjoy it later. While I agree you have to put in the time and effort, I also had to learn that I needed to give myself personal time to grow , so I can be more effective for my clients and all of those who rely on me.
