We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ryan LeVanseler a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Ryan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
The most meaningful project I’ve ever worked on is myself, and the vision I have for “Seeds to Dreams”
I consider myself the greatest project I’ve ever worked on, and will ever work on, because that’s all I truly have at the end of everything – at the end of each day, and at the end of this life. If I desire something, I’m the one that has to obtain it. When I’m faced with a situation, I’m the one that has to push through. If I fall down mentally or physically, I’m the one who has to stand back up. I spent way too much time running from myself and the reality of my circumstances, chasing external things that never really served me, my highest good, or anyone else. My relationships weren’t fulfilling, I wasn’t satisfied at any job, and I kept getting stuck. I felt lost in an endless loop of chaos, until I realized I could change it all by redirecting my focus back to the mirror.
“Seeds to Dreams” is the next project I consider the most meaningful in my life so far. It’s a part of me. It’s my brand. It’s my mission. It’s my lifestyle. It’s my destiny. It’s an ever evolving force that is slowly changing this world and the people in it for the better, one heart and soul at a time. It’s how I can give back to this planet and the people on it, including future generations, by sharing the wisdom and experience I’ve gained over the years. I do this with the intention of helping others navigate through the pain, struggle, and confusion that I once experienced. I do this so people know they’re not alone. I do this to uplift and empower the ones who feel broken and hopeless. I do this to stimulate advancement.
I’ve only been working on it for a short period of time, but the impact is undeniable. Starting on social media such as Instagram and TikTok, I’ve been able to build a platform with great influence where I can reach many around the world of all ages, genders, cultures, etc. The concept is simple, but also profound, with many meanings wrapped into one package. From one perspective, we all start on this journey of life as a tiny seed, just like a mighty Redwood tree. We begin in darkness, buried under the dirt with one goal in mind… to grow. With enough faith, water, and patience, our roots expand and we eventually emerge transformed in a new environment. We reach for the light, spread our branches, and stand tall, reminding others what is possible and inspiring them to do the same. From another perspective, our thoughts are the seeds we plant into the garden we call reality, eventually blooming into the fruits or dreams we wish to harvest and enjoy.
This is just a quick summary, as there’s no easy way to explain what has been, or what will be. Time will really show what it means.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Ryan and I’ve been on this planet for 30 years, soon to be 31 in July 2023. I was born and raised in Michigan, starting on a little, isolated farm house. I have two sisters who share the same Mom as me, both over a decade older than I am. Right before I turned 3, we moved to a dead-end dirt road named Cash street in a small town called New Hudson. If it weren’t for my sisters, I’m not sure I would have made it through, for we were surrounded by alcoholism, abuse, and more. I was an eccentric child, full of light and life, but that changed over the years. My parents parted ways in a chaotic manner when I was just starting high school, and I ended up leaving home at 15. I bounced around from place to place just trying to find my way and reconnect with the boy I used to be. Thankfully, I mustered up enough strength to push myself through high school and graduate, completing 3 years worth of credits in my final year there. After high school, I did what I thought was best and found an IT job while attended college, eventually receiving my associates degree. I moved to the West side of Detroit at this time, for I couldn’t afford to go anywhere else, and I had no one but myself to fall back on. I remember being terrified for years, listening to constant gunshots, screams, and sirens. I remember lying in bed the first night I moved in with gunshots going by that were so close, I could hear whizzing, snapping, and ricochets. I’ve experienced many traumatic events throughout my life that most are shocked to hear, and I’m often told it’s a miracle I made it out alive, but I’m grateful because they all shaped me into the man I am today. I packed the little things I had into the back of a U-Haul truck in half a day and left Detroit for good when I was confronted with a sudden situation that offered only two choices… leave, or die. Everything went into a storage unit that I could barely afford.
During this time frame I met a beautiful woman who is nothing short of an Angel, and I didn’t realize how pivotal of a role she would play in my journey until later down the road. After Detroit, I slept in my car until I moved in with her. We now share a beautiful relationship that’s beyond words and we’re working towards what we used to think was impossible. With her by my side, I finally had a safe space where I was able to heal my past wounds and pursue my true purpose with focus. This is when “Seeds to Dreams” began to flourish.
All the work I’ve done so far with this project has been free of charge. I help people from the depths of my heart knowing the ripple it sends out into the world and how much it can change overall, for everyone. I make very little money right now, creating ads for different brands on social media. The sacrifice is overwhelming at times, especially when I can’t afford groceries, but I look back at how far I’ve come and why I started to remind me what it’s all really about. I know it’s not for nothing and that’s what keeps me going. Others call it insane, but I say I see what they cannot.
I make videos online with the intention of reaching very specific people, with each being one of a kind. Sometimes they come from pure inspiration, and other times they are direct answers to questions many wish to know. I also spend a lot of time guiding people in private via direct messages and email for free. I help anyone who feels lost or confused break out of old chains so they can soar to greater heights. I’ve saved many lives and I know I’ll continue to do so. The testimonials I receive make me cry in ways I won’t dive into here.
I consider what I do extremely unique so it’s hard to put a label on, but if I had to, I’d say I’m a Spiritual Mentor, Intuitive Advisor, or Psychic Medium… some may even say a Life Coach. None of that matters to me, it’s the impact that I focus on. I’m most proud of the fact that I share my love, I never give up, and that my faith in the unseen extends beyond words. I remain true to my soul and the vision, despite all obstacles and barriers. I want anyone reading to know that this is still the beginning phase, and I have many great plans for the future.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
This will briefly highlight how much discipline, faith, and focus I have in working towards my dream. I started with no experience, no connections, no budget, and no real plan set in place. I’ve been working for 2 years now, with very little to show for it aside from the testimonials I receive from those I help. I sacrifice more than I ever thought I would, barely making enough money on the side to buy basic necessities required to survive. It’s a constant battle to continue forward daily, between health issues, mental demons, and spiritual experiences, in ways many may never understand. Regardless, I remain consistent, even when I want to give up and run back to a 9-5 job, and my old ways of being. I do all this, because I know where it lead.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The main goal that drives me and this dream is love. It’s about the current state of our world and the quality of life for those currently here, and those that will come after us. We are killing each other and this planet… for what? There’s a darkness that people don’t know how to handle, internally and externally. The majority are walking in fear with no hope for a better tomorrow. With each life I change, we step closer to balance. The single domino falls setting the rest into motion. One becomes many, and the paradigm shifts. What someone once hated, they now see with a new perception. The light begins to shine, and we begin to thrive.
