Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ryan Himmel. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Ryan, appreciate you joining us today. What were some of the most unexpected problems you’ve faced in your career and how did you resolve those issues?
The most successful people are the ones that solve the biggest problems. Every time I’m dealing with a client there is always a problem that they have and if I can be the one to solve that problem for them then the relationship will go that much further and will pay off much more in the long run.

Ryan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
When I got married and purchased our first home in 2020, seeing the process and seeing how stressful and difficult it could be for the buyer motivated me to want to make the home buying process as smooth as possible for each and every one of my clients. After closing on our first home, I enrolled in classes to obtain my license. When I went to take my final exam, I failed… Thankfully I was able to take it again and when I did, I failed… again. I went on to take the test 9 times and failed all 9 of them but on the 1oth time, I passed! The mindset I had when I refused to give up when it came to taking the test is the same mindset I have when it comes to finding the right home for you!
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
A time I had to pivot in my career was when I first started as a Realtor, it was tough for me to even talk about how I am now a Realtor so for a while I kept it to myself. Later I realized that my business wasn’t taking off like I had wanted it to and it was because I was keeping it a secret from everyone! something to understand is that people won’t automatically know about your business. You have to tell them about it!

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source to gain new clients for me has been word of mouth! Building relationships with people is the most important thing that you can do in business.
