We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ryan Arnaiz. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ryan below.
Ryan, appreciate you joining us today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?
Clients these days want more information about the products they’re consuming. They want more natural ingredients in their products, and dosages that actually work. You need to have the right ingredients, and dosage to get results. They also want multiple options on how they can get their products.

Ryan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started working at NutriPro in high school. Then studied exercises physiology, and nutrition at F.I.U., along with having worked at a pharmacy. I then started my own nutrition store, before taking over NutriPro 20 years ago. I learned from the original owner Bert Vila, that started NutriPro 34 years ago. At NutriPro, we consult clients to give them the right supplements to help them with their health/performance needs. We only close 1 day a year, and have multiple ways to get clients their products. I personally answer every question that gets sent on all social media, and email. We do retail, wholesale, and have our own brand with which we sell globally.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
A few years ago I noticed a shift towards businesses having to get their products, and services to the client in multiple ways. Many areas in Miami started being built where the client is living, working, and going out within walking distance. I then bought a commercial delivery van, free shipping to them if they were outside our home delivery radius, more ways to get a hold of me with their questions, and curbside service at our store.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Even in today’s technological era, i still see that clients referring other clients is the most important. In my field, where clients are consuming a product to improve their health/performance, they want to know they can trust you to not harm them. A client telling a friend that I’m the one to go see speaks volumes.
