I create more than just candles. My company is a scented goods company which means products that smell good which is more than just candles. Room sprays, carpet freshener, sachets, car diffusers, and wax melts are a just a few of the other things that I make.

The Scent Spot was founded by Ruvarashe Mukelabai on November 24, 2020 in the heart of Durham, North Carolina, USA.

Their mission is to be your favorite scented goods company that provides high quality, fragranced soy candles, soy wax melts, long lasting car fresheners and more. Such to the point where their products intrigue senses with persuasive aromas.

Each item is handmade and poured with love. During the process, items are made with chemical and toxin free quality fragrance oils to ensure that each customer receives products with long lasting fragrances and burn or melt times compared to average.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Pop-up shops have been the best source of new clients for me.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

Being interactive with customers through social media and engaging in conversation with customers during pop-up shops. Also including free samples with orders and sending out thank you cards.
