Hi Ruju Hailey, thanks for joining us today. If you’re open to it, can you talk to us about the best (or worst) investment you’ve made. What’s the backstory and the relevant context behind why you made the investment?
The best investment I made in my business is focusing on self development. I prioritized education that helped me achieve more efficient processes and generate higher quality service for my clients. I even study atypical subjects not necessarily directly related to my industry such as negotiating tactics, winning attitude, and leadership skills. This has helped me elevate the client experience and ensure my business runs smoothly. I will continue to focus on education development because I believe this is the real way to constantly evolve and improve.

The RHS Events mission is simply this: to provide you with world-class wedding planning services that result in a wedding that’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Coming from a science background and also having many years of experience in the wedding industry, I’ve developed a bold yet methodological process that’s equal parts strategic and creative to design a wedding that’s as extraordinary as the couples I work with.
This means you won’t see me handing you a list of preferred vendors your way, hoping you pick the right one for your wedding. It’s also not our style to push trends onto you, just for the sake of relevancy. No, I deeply care about my couples and prioritize trust, transparency, and an incredible amount of hard work to ensure everyone is taken care of throughout the entire process. Because the way I see it, we are not just throwing some big party for you and your partner. We’re celebrating a significant milestone in your life, and that deserves the utmost attention to detail and service
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I can attribute my most significant achievements in the industry through dedicated consistency to my craft. Clients routinely receive my attentiveness and focus to ensure their desires are fulfilled. This tried and true consistency model has molded my business practices into a more efficient machine. I can now reliably say that this single principle has generated the reputation that RHS has in the industry today.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Clients are my moving force. Establishing strong and impactful relations with former and current clients tends to lead to the acquisition of new clients. Often times when an event goes well, clients will recommend friends and family to me in order to share a similar well executed experience.
