We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rudi Fate. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rudi below.
Rudi, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
My parents met. That’s what they did right. Through their love, they brought two distinctive and powerful lineages together to create an entire new paradigm through me. My mum is English and my father is a country boy from Georgia. They met at a club in England while my dad was temporarily stationed there. Maybe it was his dance skills, maybe it was his southern charm, regardless my mother fell in love and the two of them had me along with 3 other kids. I come from a blended family of nationalities, races and spiritual backgrounds. Compassion, empathy and understanding is embedded in my DNA. I was blessed to live the military-brat life as well. Traveling throughout countries and constantly being the “new girl” toughens you up. It made me adaptable, curious, and courageous. All traits that have made me successful as a creative. I’m truly thankful for my parents’ union, and patiently await the day where I can create my own legacy.

Rudi, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Ah, the life of an evolving creative! Where do I begin? I’ve always wanted to be a star. I’ve always wanted to be on stage. I’ve always known that I wanted to transcend the mundane. Creating is like breathing to me. I find beauty and inspiration in everything. I tend to dabble in many creative pursuits at once, but they always connect. Currently, I’m working on a musical called “WaneFlow.” I’ve decided that through this project, I can combine all my passions and talents into one masterpiece! I love to design clothes, so I will style my characters in original pieces. To fulfill my musical cravings, I’ve included original songs I’ve composed and written. Recently, I’ve discovered a new gift..acting. So, I play one of the leads! And finally, community is important to me. Mutual support, love and adoration for my fellow creatives is a part of my destiny, so all the characters in “WaneFlow” are inspired by local artists.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
Every single one of us is a creator. We’re all divine beings constantly choosing ways to express ourselves. I express myself through music, words and visual arts. Some may express themselves through organization, systems and templates. Whether you create money or create paintings, you’re a co-creator of your reality. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Your very existence is magical. I believe that God created each of us to show out! We are instruments played by the universe and your song is worth listening to.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Allow us to creative freely. Give us the resources to spread our message. Honor our truths as important.
