Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rubi Villa. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rubi, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
One of the most important lessons my parents taught me was to enjoy life. Yet, at times, I found myself complaining about it. I often notice how many people seem to lack that same sense of enjoyment, and it saddens me.
My parents were always celebrating something, eating good food, appreciating nature or simply embracing life. I believe this is now part of my essence, and it continues to inspire me in my art.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a multidisciplinary artist specializing in visual arts. My services range from creating live paintings, murals, and commissioned pieces to offering face and body painting. I strive to deliver original works while also guiding clients to discover their own ideas. As a visual artist, I’ve learned that not everyone has the same ability to express their concepts visually. This is where I come in—not just painting what’s requested, but infusing my essence into the work while uncovering the client’s unique vision. The result is always something truly one-of-a-kind and magical.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The greatest reward of being an artist is that through my own joy, others can experience it too. It’s as if a divine energy flows through me and extends to others. Creating art for others to enjoy is a form of giving love. In my very personal opinion, art and love are deeply connected—art is the closest thing to love itself.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
One of my main goals is to find and maintain my own happiness as consistently as possible. I believe the closer I am to happiness, the easier it is to spread it through my art. When I’m in the zone, it’s as if I’m immersed in a fantasy of pure pleasure, and that’s when the best ideas come to me. In these moments of inspiration, my work becomes more honest, less filtered, and ultimately more captivating to the viewer.
