Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Roy Davila. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Roy, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
What’s up, everyone! I’m Roy Davila, also known as “The Wolf.”
Let me give you a glimpse into my journey. With over fifteen years in the automotive industry, I’ve seen it all.
My nickname, “The Wolf,” came about in the summer of 2012 when a colleague noticed my relentless work ethic. He said, “Everyone wants to be a lion, but you’re a wolf.” He explained that a lion eats until full and leaves scraps, but a wolf keeps going until there’s nothing left. And that’s exactly how I approach goals, developing people, and helping businesses thrive.
From finance manager to GM and Platform Variable Operations Director, I’ve worn many hats in the dealership world. I even created a coaching platform that not only teaches effective growth strategies for people and departments but also guides managers and sales teams to engage customers in both digital and traditional buying processes. We’re all about embracing the digital showroom and integrating it with our physical processes, creating a seamless experience for customers.
However, my proudest moments aren’t about doubling store performances or turning around failing ones. It’s about the lives we’ve impacted. Working with incredible sales professionals and leaders, we’ve achieved things they never thought possible. That’s the real reward.
So, if you’re looking for someone who works relentlessly, leaves nothing on the table, and transforms lives along the way, look no further. I’m Roy Davila, “The Wolf,” your next leadership coach, ready to conquer the world!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I attribute the cultivation of my relentless reputation within the market to my steadfast adherence to a guiding philosophy: be a problem solver, not a problem reporter. By embracing this mantra, I transcend conventional barriers and actively seek solutions where others might become ensnared by the complexities of the problem itself. This proactive approach has not only propelled me to success in every facet of life and business but has also distinguished myself as a beacon of innovation and resilience within the automotive industry. Rather than dwelling on challenges, I have consistently focused on identifying opportunities for improvement, fostering collaboration, and driving tangible results. This unwavering commitment to problem-solving has not only bolstered my reputation but has also positioned myself as a trusted leader and invaluable asset in the competitive marketplace.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Certainly. Being authentic and consistent has been paramount in building my brand on social media. From the outset, I made a conscious decision to stay true to myself and my values, sharing content that genuinely reflects who I am and what I stand for. This authenticity resonated with my audience, fostering a genuine connection and sense of trust.
Consistency has also played a crucial role in my social media journey. By regularly posting high-quality content and engaging with my audience, I’ve been able to maintain momentum and keep followers actively engaged. Whether it’s sharing insights from my industry, offering valuable tips and advice, or providing behind-the-scenes glimpses into my work, I’ve strived to deliver content that adds value and resonates with my audience.
For those just starting to build their social media presence, my advice would be to focus on authenticity and consistency above all else. Don’t try to emulate others or follow trends just for the sake of it. Instead, identify what sets you apart and leverage that uniqueness to create content that authentically reflects who you are. Additionally, commit to maintaining a consistent posting schedule and actively engage with your audience to foster meaningful connections. Building a social media presence takes time and dedication, but staying true to yourself and consistently delivering value will ultimately set you on the path to success.
