We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Roxxy Wild a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Roxxy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

A not-so-long time ago …there was MTV, They played music videos. They played a lot of music videos in the 80’s from Hair-Bands….because they were, in a word, totally awesome dude!
The music as fun, the clothes were wild. I dare say..”nuthin but a good time” was the mantra of the decade.
That music had such an impact on those of us lucky to experience it first-hand and it’s staying power in indisputable.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

In a 2025 world where we currently see countless Tribute bands to specific bands of the day,
Roxxy Wild is a Hair-Genre tribute, selecting songs from dozens of bands which brings the sound, style, image and performance energy of that music to the stage .

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

To perform awesome music from a mega-awesome time that people can enjoy

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

Definitely the response(s) from the fans. They can tell that we believe in what we are doing thru the power of our performance. Every song we play can take anyone back to a snapshot in time of something, somewhere, or someone that was a rockin’ good time.
