We recently connected with Rossi Dimitrova and have shared our conversation below.
Rossi, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
My defining moment in my career as a mindset coach, yoga teacher, and energy alchemist was when I chose radical honesty with myself. As humans, we often see what aligns with our preconceptions and conditioning, seeking confirmation of our inadequacies. During my initial Yoga teacher training, a pivotal question was posed to me: “Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?” This question struck a chord, revealing my tendency to cling to perceived flaws rather than embracing freedom.
Despite considering myself authentic, I realized I had been concealing vulnerabilities, viewing them as weaknesses. This realization prompted a commitment to genuine self-examination. I began questioning my actions and reactions sincerely, reclaiming personal power and striving for the life I genuinely desired. This shift taught me that vulnerability is not a weakness but a potent superpower.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I wear many hats and weave a tapestry of passions and skills that span diverse fields. From yoga teacher and mentor to Deliberate Mind Designer, energy alchemist, artist, photographer, and graphic designer, my journey is a rich blend of creativity, introspection, and holistic healing.
How It All Began:
My artistic journey started in 7th grade, but my path to becoming a Deliberate Mind Designer began in a deeply personal way. After the loss of a loved one at around 17, I turned to yoga as a source of solace. Though my practice was intermittent, a pivotal moment came in 2014 when I undertook my first official Yoga Teacher Training. During a session called “Define the Lie,” I realized how our personal truths are often shaped by our perceptions, not reality. This experience ignited my passion for helping others uncover and confront their own self-deceptions.
What I Offer:
Mindset COaching/Deliberate Mind Design: My unique program helps individuals explore and challenge their perceived truths, uncover the “Lie” they may be living by, and take tangible actions toward personal freedom and happiness. Using the wisdom of yoga philosophy and insights from transformative authors like Don Miguel Ruiz and Byron Katie, Abraham Hicks, Dr Joe Dispenza, and my latest teacher and mentor Peter Crone, I guide clients through profound self-discovery and growth in all aspects of life. How we do anything is how we do everything.
Energy Alchemy and Bodywork: Complementing the mental and emotional work, I integrate Reiki energy alignment and traditional bodywork techniques to address the connection between mind and body. This holistic approach ensures that we address both the energetic and physical dimensions of personal transformation.
Artistic Creations: As a lifelong artist and current graphic design student, I continue to explore and express my creativity through various artistic mediums. My work spans from visual art and photography to digital design, offering a broad range of services to meet different aesthetic and functional needs.
What Sets Me Apart:
My approach is rooted in a blend of ancient wisdom and modern techniques, ensuring a holistic and personalized experience. I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and growth, as evidenced by my continued education in mastermind programs, yogic workshops, and my ever-evolving artistic pursuits. This commitment ensures that I bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to my clients.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
The transformations I witness in my clients are what brings me the most pride. Seeing individuals move from a place of suffering to one of liberation and joy is incredibly fulfilling. The journey of self-discovery and empowerment is profound, and I am honored to be a part of that process.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
The study of yoga philosophy has been instrumental in understanding the nature of self and reality. It offers a framework for examining and shifting personal beliefs and perceptions, which is central to my work in helping clients achieve mental and emotional freedom. The first Yoga training provided the foundational tools for becoming Mindset Coach and developing the Deliberate Mind Design program. The session on “Define the Lie” was particularly transformative, offering insight into how perceptions shape our reality. This experience catalyzed my exploration into how yoga philosophy can be used to uncover and address self-deceptions.
Influential Authors and Thinkers:
Don Miguel Ruiz: His teachings on personal freedom and truth, particularly from The Four Agreements, have influenced my approach to addressing limiting beliefs and self-deceptions.
Michael Singer: His work, including The Untethered Soul, has contributed to my understanding of the mind’s role in creating and maintaining personal suffering.
Deepak Chopra: His perspectives on consciousness and holistic health have enriched my approach to integrating mind-body practices.
Byron Katie: Her The Work methodology has been instrumental in helping clients question and transform their limiting beliefs.
Peter Crone and his Masterminds: His concepts of mental freedom and the nature of the mind continue to inspire my ongoing learning and application in the Deliberate Mind Design program.
Dr. Joe Dispenza: His work, including books like Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself and Becoming Supernatural, has provided valuable knowledge on the intersection of neuroscience, meditation, and personal transformation. Dispenza’s research into how changing thought patterns can alter one’s reality aligns with your approach to helping clients create lasting change.
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
Developing deep belief in myself: Other than training and knowledge, what is most helpful to succeed in my field is having a profound belief in my own abilities and purpose. This self-belief is crucial as it drives my confidence, resilience, and authenticity. It empowers me to navigate challenges with determination, convey my methods and values effectively, and build genuine connections with my clients. Believing in oneself is a powerful asset, but overcoming obstacles such as imposter syndrome, self-doubt, external pressures, perfectionism, and fear of success is not an easy thing to do. It takes time and patience as well as embracing failures.
In addition to self-belief, several other factors contribute to success in my field:
Empathy and Compassion: Understanding and relating to my clients’ experiences allows me to offer personalized support and create a safe, trusting environment for their transformation.
Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest research and techniques ensures that my services remain relevant and effective. My commitment to ongoing education, such as participating in mastermind programs and pursuing further artistic training, reflects this dedication.
Effective Communication: Clear and articulate communication helps me connect with clients, explain complex concepts, and foster collaborative relationships, enhancing the overall impact of my work.
Networking and Relationships: Building and maintaining professional relationships opens doors to new opportunities and collaborations, helping me stay connected and engaged in my field.
Self-Care and Balance: Prioritizing my own well-being ensures that I can continue to support others effectively. Balancing my personal and professional life is essential for maintaining my energy and enthusiasm.
Innovation and Adaptability: Embracing new ideas and remaining flexible allows me to adapt to evolving needs and trends, keeping my practice dynamic and relevant.
