We recently connected with Rosemary Roman and have shared our conversation below.
Rosemary, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
In April 2018 we were celebrating a 60th birthday and we put up a backdrop and balloons with flowers the whole shebang and our sister in law says “why don’t you guys do this as a business, you’re really good at it?”. At first we kind of laughed it off but then we thought about it and thought about how we saw first hand the need for a beautiful backdrop. So we decided we would start off small and see if there was really a demand or if we were the only ones that were even looking for something like that.
We weren’t sure what we wanted to offer exactly so when we first started we were offering balloons and flower backdrops. We then felt that we wanted to go for more of a zero waste direction so we stuck to the flower walls & arches using all artificial flowers.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
We are a mother daughter trio with a love for all things pretty. We’ve always loved planning parties and going all out with the decorations. Some may say we go overboard lol. So when I got engaged I wanted to have it all but of course that can come with a hefty price tag. I wanted the big beautiful flower wall Kim Kardashian had at her wedding to Kanye but that alone would be more than our wedding budget if done in real flowers. There were no local companies who provided artificial flower walls so I had to cut that off my list of dream items for my wedding day. We got married in June of 2017, & everything was beautiful. After the wedding my sister, mom & I would talk about how we wished we would have had a flower wall, how that would have been the “icing on the wedding cake”.
So, in 2018 we took the leap & started the business. Neither of us had ever had a business before so it was a lot of learn as you go & a lot of research. Some things worked some things didn’t but we kept on going. We’ve worked hard to make sure that we get as close or even surpass the vision our clients have envisioned. We love seeing the look on our clients faces when we hit it out of the park.
Over these past five years we have built quite the clientele. We started as a flower wall company & have evolved into a floral decor rental company. We believe everyone should have the flowers of their dreams without breaking the bank or sacrificing on the style. We offer flower backdrops as well as custom design luxury faux floral rentals using realistic premium quality florals. So no allergy risks, no limitation to out of season blooms, no extra charge for including premium flowers & lastly zero waste.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service possible. I feel that’s helped build our reputation in our market. We’re not just providing a product we’re providing an experience. For many of our clients they are allowing us to be a part of one of the most important days of their lives & we strive to make that day as special as we can with whatever service we are providing for them.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Instagram has been the best source for new clients for us hands down. Although we do get new clients reach out to us that have hound us through google, instagram has been crucial in showcasing our work & getting our name out there.
