We were lucky to catch up with Rose Morro recently and have shared our conversation below.
Rose, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Is there a heartwarming story from your career that you look back on?
.About four years ago I worked remotely with a grad student in Chicago. Against her parent’s wishes Sally* had left her home country to earn a master’s degree in fine arts in the US. She started to paint large canvases of abstract art. She built a community among her friends and teachers. However, Sally missed her family who were no longer communicating with her, except her grandmother. She also missed being in a loving relationship. Her last boyfriend had gone out with one of her friends behind her back. Feeling despondent, Sally scheduled a telephone session with me. I connected with her subconscious and through muscle testing I discovered a heart-wall, an energetic barrier that Sally’s subconscious had placed around her heart to prevent any further emotional pain. Although the wall helps to protect the heart, it isolates us from getting hurt again making us feel walled off. The heart-wall can also cause neck pain or shoulder discomfort. We released the underlying trapped emotions. two inherited heart-wall trapped emotions passed down through her father’s lineage and three shared heart-wall trapped emotions with her parents. Within about two weeks, Sally heard from her parents and they came to her graduation. Later that summer, Sally moved to Los Angeles with an offer to paint for a reputable art studio. There she met a very nice guy and they started going out. They got married two years later and are very happy together. *I changed her name to protect confidentiality.

Rose, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Eighteen years ago my family and I went through an unexpected and heart wrenching separation following my divorce. Our once close knit family was broken apart. I did my best with counseling, self-help books, workshops, daily meditation and exercise. I made all kinds of changes. Still, I needed to find something else to pull myself together.
I left teaching and moved to France where I had lived in early childhood. I went back to college to improve my fluency in French. I changed my diet to plant based, met new people; yet . . . I still felt stuck.
One day, a close friend shared a link with an introduction to the Emotion Code. All of a sudden, it made total sense to me. I had done all I could on a conscious level and now it was time to go deeper and into my subconscious. That is where our thoughts, emotions, memories of the past and ancestral trauma are hidden. The subconscious records everything we’ve ever done in our lives. I started to access this deep well of information! I had learned muscle testing, a key component of this work five years earlier at a workshop unrelated to this work. Immediately, I started to see results. It felt so empowering. Soon after, I shared this healing modality with my adult kids because it can be done remotely. They were curious and open to this new work. They loved these healing systems and felt lighter, and more at ease just as I did. As we slowly knitted our family back together again, this work allowed us all to reconnect and find peace with each other. With further study, certification and encouragement, I expanded and created a professional practice to help others on their healing journey.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
I was just talking about this with my son earlier today. I believe it is very important to not have any judgment or project personal beliefs onto clients during sessions. I have worked with people from a myriad of multicultural backgrounds, including different ethnic, cultural, racial and socioeconomic groups. I try to have an open mind and open heart. People are going through a lot and they come to me for healing. I have much respect for their openness to give this work a try. Having gratitude is also an important aspect of working with so many interesting people. Often this healing becomes an integral part of their life journey. Even if it’s only one session.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Personal referrals have been incredibly valuable for my practice. They are my mainstay. I also lead group Emotion Code sessions at Sacred Light, a crystal shop in Los Feliz. I integrate this practice during our bi-monthly sound bath events with Reiki and breath work practitioners. Arlene Uribe, the owner of Sacred Light posts our events on her active marketing platforms on social media, as well as her email list. Eventually, we’re thinking of growing our events to a larger space to allow for more people to attend.
I am currently writing my memoir and plan to integrate my healing practice to perhaps inspire others with my healing journey.
