We recently connected with Rose Meza and have shared our conversation below.

Rose, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How’s you first get into your field – what was your first job in this field?

I started out in skincare and doing lashes part-time however quickly became very busy and soon dropped the skincare to focus on my passion of doing lashes. I loved the artistry of it and how you can really change the way a person looks with just a few hours. It was amazing what it could do for a person’s eyes even if they were not naturally gifted with amazing natural lashes. I loved the way it made the clients feel, instant gratification. I never intended on expanding to a store front let alone two brick and mortar locations. I just loved doing lashes and I think the clients could feel when your passionate about what you do.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Hi Im Rose I have two Eyelash Extension Studios called Sugar Blossom lashes. We are a Luxury Eyelash salon located in Brea and Chino Hills California. We offer specialize in all fullness types always putting the clients natural lash health first. All of our set our done with handmade fans never compromising on technique. We pride ourselves in exceptional customer service and excellent retention, If it is not right we fix it. Eyelashes save 10-15 minutes getting ready, not to mention you walk out the door put together even if you did not have the time or energy to put yourself together. I am most proud of my team we have created a positive and uplifting environment for both our valued customers and our team always continuing to learn and grow.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Trust. Our clients know that if they are not happy all they have to do is reach out and we will do anything in our power to try to make them happy. We train all our girls in house so no matter what technician they see they are going to receive the same excellent customer service and amazing lashes. We know without our clients trusting us we would not have succeeded.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?

Absolutely! I really love what I do and everyone on the SBL team has the same passion, you can feel it when you walk in the salon. Going to work with such an amazing team and wonderful clients makes it feel like a passionate hobby not a job. I could never imagine doing anything else that would bring me this much joy. I am appreciative for what I do and the people I have meet because of it.
