Alright, Rose thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

The spark for Ozion Publishing Group came from my own experience as an aspiring author trying to navigate publishing. After countless hours researching, I realized I could’ve used that time simply writing.

That led to an “aha” – I could help authors avoid frustrating research rabbit-holes by offering guidance tailored to their goals. Reflecting on the uncertainty I felt holding my finished manuscript, I saw the need for hands-on support with editing, design, and publishing.

By combining my writing expertise and corporate business experience, I knew I could efficiently guide writers from manuscript to printed book.

My goal is to nurture overlooked talent and unlock the potential of diverse storytellers. By delivering tailored coaching, editing, and publishing services, I believe I can open doors for new voices to share their stories and inspire change. Knowing I could empower writers to have that triumph was the spark for Ozion.

Hello readers, I’m Rose Johnson, or AuthorRoseJ as many of you know me. I’ve always enjoyed writing as a personal hobby, but never had the courage to share my work beyond family and close friends. After keeping my passion private for so long, I finally took the leap and started pursuing publication. It wasn’t easy overcoming my doubts and insecurities, but seeing my novels come to life showed me that other people could relate to my stories. That validation gave me the confidence boost I needed to keep writing and eventually create my writing workbooks and coaching services to help empower other aspiring authors. My own journey still feels surreal at times, but I’m honored to now have the opportunity to guide writers from all walks of life. My goal is to provide the support I wish I had starting out so more overlooked voices can share their gifts with the world.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

When I first began working on my novel ‘The Chronicles of Integrated Friends,’ I had no idea how to navigate the complex world of publishing. With no formal training, I spent years researching, taking courses, and trying to teach myself the ins and outs of bringing a book to market. It was a long, costly learning curve with many setbacks and delays. But throughout it all, I persisted by drawing from my corporate background and education to lay the foundations for aspiring writers.

At Ozion, we explored new technologies and engaged directly with authors to understand their challenges firsthand. Despite tight budgets and a steep learning curve, the Ozion team kept pushing forward to create our acclaimed workbooks and coaching programs.

My journey serves as a reminder that resilience isn’t just overcoming setbacks – it’s forging ahead with determination, no matter the obstacles. By sharing our hard-won knowledge, I want to empower writers to avoid the pitfalls we faced and turn their book ideas into published works.
