We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rose Campbell. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rose below.
Rose , appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Absolutely. Here’s a strong and heartfelt response for Rose:

Our mission is deeply personal because it’s rooted in my own story. I survived human trafficking while in foster care, and for years, I carried the weight of that trauma in silence. I know firsthand what it feels like to feel invisible, unheard, and unsupported. That’s why I created Dying Inside—to be the very thing I needed when I was younger. Our mission is to empower survivors and aged-out foster youth with mental health support, life skills, safe housing, and hope. This isn’t just a cause for me—it’s a calling. Every program we run is built on the belief that healing is possible, and that every life is worth fighting for.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Rose Campbell, and I wear many hats—publicist, author, nonprofit founder, event host, and the reigning Mrs. Tennessee Queen Of The World. But behind every title is a story of resilience, reinvention, and purpose. I’m a survivor of human trafficking and grew up in the foster care system. My journey wasn’t easy, but it shaped me into someone who doesn’t just dream of change—I create it.
I got into public relations because I believe in the power of storytelling. Too often, the people with the most powerful stories are the ones who don’t know how to share them—or don’t believe their voice matters. I launched Corralling the Campbell’s Media to change that. We help entrepreneurs, nonprofits, influencers, and brands get seen, heard, and remembered through strategic PR, media placements, and brand elevation. From TV segments to podcast tours, press features to influencer campaigns—we take your message and amplify it to the world.
I’m also the founder of Dying Inside, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of trafficking and aged-out foster youth. We provide safe housing, mental health services, life skills training, and entrepreneurial support so survivors can not just survive—but thrive. I know what it’s like to feel forgotten, which is why I’ve made it my mission to make sure others don’t have to.
What sets me apart is the intersection of personal experience and professional execution. I’m not just offering services—I’m offering transformation. I deeply understand what it takes to build something from the ground up, to turn pain into purpose, and to lead with both strategy and heart.
I’m most proud of the lives that have been changed—whether that’s a client landing national media or a survivor rebuilding their future. I want people to know that working with me means joining a movement. It means partnering with someone who sees your story, honors your truth, and will go to bat for your visibility and success.
Whether you’re a brand ready to shine, a woman rising from adversity, or someone just looking for inspiration—I want my work to remind you that your voice matters, your story is powerful, and it’s never too late to rise.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
When I first started building my audience on social media, I didn’t have a blueprint—I had a story, a mission, and a deep desire to connect with people. I began by sharing honestly about my journey: my experiences as a survivor, a foster youth, a mother, and an entrepreneur. I didn’t try to be “perfect”—I focused on being real. That authenticity is what attracted people to my page, and it’s what still keeps them there.
I built my audience through consistency, connection, and community. I made it a point to show up regularly, engage with my followers, and provide value—whether that was a behind-the-scenes look at my nonprofit work, media tips as a publicist, or just words of encouragement to other women trying to rise. I also leveraged collaborations, podcast features, speaking events, and media placements to expand my reach beyond my page.
For anyone just starting out, my advice is simple but powerful: start messy, start small, but start now. You don’t need thousands of followers to make an impact—you just need to show up with intention and speak to the one person who needs to hear your message. Focus on storytelling, not selling. Be relatable, not perfect. And remember, social media is about connection. Show people the heart behind your brand, and your audience will grow—organically, authentically, and powerfully.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What helped me build my reputation within my market was showing up with purpose, consistency, and integrity. I didn’t just talk about what I could do—I did it. I built trust by delivering results for my clients, sharing my own story with vulnerability, and being deeply invested in the success of the people I serve.
I think what really set me apart was my ability to combine strategy with heart. As a publicist and nonprofit founder, I approach everything through the lens of impact. Whether I’m landing someone a media placement, hosting a conference, or advocating for survivors, I lead with authenticity and make sure the work speaks for itself. Word of mouth, strong relationships, and a genuine passion for uplifting others have been the foundation of my reputation. People know that when they work with me, they’re not just getting services—they’re getting someone who cares deeply and shows up fully.
