Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ronny Bueller. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Ronny thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us about a time that your work has been misunderstood? Why do you think it happened and did any interesting insights emerge from the experience?
Being misunderstood can sometimes Work Out to your own benefit. I believe that most creators and geniuses are highly misunderstood and that’s what makes them who they are. For example, The black kid that grows up in the ghetto who listens to rock music and watches anime, To his peers it may seem weird Because that’s not the norm. In the ghetto, and let me say this, the ghetto is a state of mind. the ghetto Cannot be found on a map. It’s a mentality. But in the poor black community that is the mentality of the majority.. Outside of hip-hop and R&b, Anything else is unappreciated. But there are some Like myself Who are blessed to have parents who have expose them to different kinds of music, movies television arts and entertainment And that’s what helped create my style in music and as a creative. But I’ve learned to accept that some will get it and some won’t. and that’s ok. That’s what makes us different.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Well I’m a rebel with a cause. For some reason in my life so far I’ve always had to go against the grain. I’ve had to fight for what I believe is right. Sometimes you are placed in environments that is not suitable for you. I don’t like being around negative people. People that have no ambition no no heart. No drive no passion. Wicked and cruel intentions to make this world worse I don’t like to be around those type of people. So I pretty much created my own world. Bob Marley said Man is a universe within himself and I tend to believe that. I had to escape the pressure of being different In my environment. And that’s what pushed me to pursue music. I can be myself. I can express things that certain words can’t say.
From the age of five I knew I wanted to do music even though I had a huge amount of love for basketball. I Still play basketball but I don’t take it as serious as I do music.
But yes music has always been there. When I was about 11 years old, there was an Artist named baby S who lived in the same apartment as I did. Baby S was featured on Kurupt we can freak it. So Many artist would come to his spot and record. And I will be downstairs sitting around the table just soaking it all up. Baby s Had a Mpc 2000 And would be making all kinds of beats and I would just sit there and listen to him going through sounds and I thought it was amazing. just him going through sounds and not even the actual finished product had my attention. So in high school I met a friend named alpha MC. he was a producer And a artist And he gave me a copy of the fruity loops software And That’s when I began to produce music.
One thing I am elated for is The growth and the journey in music. Meeting and collaborating with artists. Finally having the confidence to believe in myself and knowing that I’m good at something. Seeing and hearing people’s reaction to my music it’s a feeling that I can’t describe. But I love it and I appreciate it and I don’t take it for granted.
I Think what sets me apart is my mind-frame. I believe I can do anything I put my mind to. I put no limitations on my creativity. And I’m always willing to help and willing to learn.
One thing I want my audience to know about my brand is, Never let your ears get comfortable and Rely on expectations. Because I’m always switching it up. That’s one of the many things I loved about prince, Every Body of work was different from the last. He never gave the world a purple rain 2. He followed that up with around the world in a day.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
I think society Can support artist. If Society wants to support artist. I’ll give two examples.
Example one: Go and research new artists. up-and-coming artist. Don’t get caught up in the hype. Because there may be an artist who does not have 1 million views on Instagram or 1 million followers 1 million subscribers and probably Makes better music than those with that many views and subscribers lol.
Example two: Support that artist by spending some money. If the artist has merch for sale, Music for sale, help him out Especially if you know he or she is good at what they do. It’s sad to see people supporting artist that they don’t know and may have never met before over one they do know. And we all know damn well that when That artist makes it, they will be the first to start kissing ass. They always do!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Yes I can. A few years back I was trying to shop some beats and I ended up going to Stonesthrow records. It was myself and my brother Dominic. And I thought at that time that Stones Throw was a place for an artist/producer like myself. From what I’ve seen they represent good music. you know they have a hell of a line up. From knowledge to Dam~Funk. MF Doom to To Anderson .Paak. These are some of the best musicians and artist in my eyes. So I had a bunch of beat CDs that I made and when we got to the office things got a little weird. Everybody was on their phones Doing whatever they were doing. Now I get it I didn’t have an appointment to meet with anyone specifically. But I was hoping I can get to talk to somebody lol. Finally one of the guys came up to us and had asked did we have an appointment and who we were there to see? I said I didn’t have an appointment but I have these CDs full of beats. all original music compose written and produced by me. And I was hoping that maybe one of you guys or an A&R can give it a listen and just let me know what you think about it. We were told, “we’re not accepting any music by C.D” but you can send it to the email. I knew that was bullshit because I had already sent music to the email. And because I got no response, I thought the right thing to do was to pull up to the office. I mean let’s be honest they probably get a lot of emails from Artist submitting music And mines probably could’ve got overlooked. So I left there feeling kind of defeated I can’t lie but like I said before when I put my mind to something I can do anything. So I got to manifesting. And for some reason I manifested that I was going to run into Snoop Dogg. And that happened! I met snoop and Warren G outside of bishop Don Juan’s house lol. I also spoke with big percy (snoops manager) and made a few connections. That led me to snoops videographer, Dah-Dah Which led me to dam-funk which also led me to mykestro which led me to Battlecat. I ended up working with Mykestro and I became the first producer that got battlecat to rap on production outside of his own. (The song is called T-Tops by mykestro feat.Battlecat) Moral of the story is when there’s a will there’s a way and if you can believe it it can happen. Manifestation is real.
