Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Romina Daniele. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Romina, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard.
Hello and it is so much my pleasure to talk with you and write for your magazine today. That’s all about the story behind my mission. I am a music composer with a background in technology and classical studies, and a multimedia researcher master’s graduate in Cinema. Photography and the history of art form just the foundational pillars of mega fields such as these. I have earned two master’s degrees and have achieved global recognition through my record and book publications. I have been through both philosophical and multimedia paths extensively. And I have been able to carefully explain all the process that brought me to make photographs for living in the interview for Voyage Miami which I would like to link here as well, since I will make this article different than that and readers may have the chance to delve into some points If needed: http://voyagemia.com/interview/check-out-romina-danieles-story
All those fields I have been working into constitute my way of doing art, which is for me a form of spiritual vocation: I believe human being is on earth with the purpose of creating, which is the same thing of thinking, where thinking is not a mechanical brain operation but the “to being in” all in one with perception, and the creation itself, of consciousness, to say a main thing with a straight word.
I have been painting on large canvas with oils and I have been singing my own blues. I have been performed electronic and classical music on different kind of stages in Europe and I managed a live music venue in Miami. At the same time I have been working on a 1000-page essay on the contemporary society related to the technologies and the vocals related to the meaning of being (and this is an ongoing project).
When I offer a photoshoot service, I am offering all my knowledge to make the desired pictures accordingly with my style which is consistent, and with all that said, I am focused on making art with the images as the same way I can do with the sound or even better.
Romina, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
RominaDanielePhotography.com is the third but not the least field I actively and proudly work in. The first two are related to RominaDaniele.com (my music and my writings) and JadysDaniels.com (now bonded with Rdm Records, for our productions and live music activity). I founded these latters with my partner Lorenzo Marranini in about 15 years of life time and Jadys Daniele is the name of our six years old child. I can provide clients both stills and videos and the most appreciated feedback I received from them regards the thoughtful aim they can perceive from my approach and what I create. I believe they refer to the art itself or the way the universe can talk with them through my creations, which is why I started this article by saying the meaning of being is to create. That’s a connection to the universe, from where every single one came from, and it is related to the ability to catch a little immensity of what we really are.
As I often said, borrowing the language from Cinema theorists, when you catch the second with a photograph, and you fix the image on the support, you are able to really see and discover details and facts you cannot see otherwise. It is always a sunrise (which is the second thing I love to photograph, and the first one is my daughter —as you can see from the images attached to this article).
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Having the ability to share what I just called a little immensity of what we really are. People can feel a kind of special spreading out from what they get and are in, and they will be enriched from the set of photographs learning something new about themselves. This is not exactly related to the impressiveness of the latest high tech movie release or similar matters, but to the art it self which moves throughout quality and technology being the last unique and irreplaceable immaterial essence. You can earn money with art, but you cannot doing art with the sole purpose of making money, as art is tied to the very final meaning of the human being — the unique and most important, the one which remains — as a conscious and thinking being connected with the purest and original sense of existence. To share is the goal.
On the other hand, catching people’s special moments is something. I participate to every kind of emotions every day.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
That is illustrated by my story itself. I can change the shapes: vocals, composing, performing, producing, making photographs and video, managing a music venue. But I can only do and spread art.
