We were lucky to catch up with Rolando Gonzalez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Rolando, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
Working on Dhar Mann episodes has been an incredible journey. Collaborating with such talented individuals while sharing inspiring messages has been a dream come true. As a Mexican-American actor, I’ve often been typecast in roles that perpetuate harmful stereotypes. While I relish the opportunity to challenge myself with complex characters, I’m deeply passionate about showcasing the richness of the Mexican-American experience. Our community is brimming with hardworking, compassionate individuals who possess a profound cultural heritage. I believe that by portraying authentic and positive characters, we can help shift perceptions and inspire a more inclusive and understanding world bringing more opportunities to showcase our gifts and talents.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As an actor turned digital marketer, I’ve experienced firsthand the ups and downs of the entertainment industry. The uncertainty, the long hours, and the constant hustle made me yearn for something different. I wanted a career that offered more flexibility, more control, and a greater sense of purpose.
That’s why I decided to dive into the world of digital marketing. I saw it as an opportunity to create something meaningful, to help others achieve their goals, and to live life on my own terms.
This program is designed to empower individuals to build successful online businesses. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers everything from attraction marketing to automating your business. We provide ongoing mentorship, live webinars, weekly training, and daily video content to guide our new people every step of the way.
I’m passionate about helping people break free from the traditional 9-to-5 grind and begin to grow their legacy. My goal is to inspire others to pursue their dreams and live a life they love.
What sets me apart is my unique blend of creativity and business acumen. As an actor, I understand the importance of storytelling and connecting with an audience. As a digital marketer, I know how to leverage technology to drive results. This combination allows me to create engaging and effective content that helps my clients attract customers and grow their businesses.
I’m most proud of the success stories of my new people. Watching them transform their lives and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding. I believe that everyone has the potential to be successful, and I’m committed to helping them unlock their full potential.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the power to ignite sparks within others. Music and film have been catalysts for change in my own life, igniting a belief that anything is truly possible. I want to pass that torch onto others, empowering them to overcome their limitations and chase their wildest dreams.
There’s something truly magical about connecting with an audience on a deep, emotional level. Knowing that my art can inspire, heal, and motivate others fills me with a profound sense of purpose. I want to be the catalyst that helps the next generation realize their full potential.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I think non-creatives might struggle to understand the constant self-doubt and vulnerability that comes with being an artist. The creative process is often a solitary one, filled with moments of self-doubt and uncertainty. It takes a certain level of resilience and perseverance to overcome these challenges and continue to pursue your passion.
Another aspect that non-creatives might find difficult to grasp is the importance of rejection. As an actor, I’ve faced countless auditions and callbacks, only to be told “no.” It’s a tough pill to swallow, but it’s a necessary part of the journey. Rejection can be a powerful motivator, driving you to work harder and become better at your craft.
While non-creatives may not pursue art as a profession, I believe that creativity is a universal human trait. Everyone has the capacity to be creative in their own unique way. Whether it’s through cooking, gardening, writing, or simply finding innovative solutions to everyday problems, creativity is a vital part of the human experience.
Ultimately, the journey of a creative is one of constant growth and self-discovery. It’s a journey filled with both highs and lows, but it’s a journey that’s worth embarking on.
