We recently connected with Roger landry Kamin and have shared our conversation below.
Roger landry, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
In my point of view COURAGE, a lot of courage. Success is the goal but there is a journey before reaching this point.
Everyone would be there at the end to congratulate you but have no idea by what you have been through.
Courage defines us, courage sculpt our behavior, courage is the result of a life of patience.
99% of successful people will tell you the same thing there is no success without courage.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Bonjour everyone my name is Roger Landry Kamin, born in Abidjan Côte D’Ivoire west Africa & raised in Paris France. I was discovered as talent when I was a teenager , I competed for the best model Africa with Elite, I worked with the best designers around the world.
Fashion is a part of me, it’s the way I express myself, my everyday mood.
My goal was to inspire the new generation to chase their goal and never give up .
I own a brand named L2KAPPAREL specialized in Accessories this project was my teenager dream. As french we have 2 things who define us BREAD &: FASHION , My brand is about scarves accessories that we need on the daily basis to standout.
What makes me so special is my personality, everyone thinks that I am very friendly. I love everyone
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect I will say it’s see that you helped others in their careers. One thing I have noticed nowadays is that nobody wants to teach, share and help others with the secret of their success.
If no one wants to help who would guide the youngest?
Every single day I receive lots of messages & questions from beginners & it’s a pleasure for me to help them.
Some come back and say thank you others don’t but deep down it feels good to help
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My mission is to help new models to avoid the same mistakes that I did when I started. I wish I had someone to help me and guide all along but nope I had to learn by myself And grow from my mistakes. Now that I have a platform and if my voice can change things I am ready to do so.
I believe our missions and goals in life are designed to come across somebody else in need.
This God’s plan
