Let me share with you an empowering customer success story that started in October of 2022.
I, as a Kajabi service provider, was saddened to see so many posts on the Kajabi Facebook Group where users were scammed or “ghosted” by other service providers. I knew this was hurting the reputation of honest and hardworking service providers like me. So, I decided to take action and posted a heartfelt message in the Kajabi Facebook group, urging for a change.
I poured out my heart in a heartfelt note, expressing my deep concern about this situation and how it was damaging the reputation of other service providers. My message caught the attention of Kajabi, and they launched their Kajabi Experts platform, a platform that vetted service providers could use to support clients. Thanks to my post, this platform was made available to the public, giving users the assurance that they could find reliable service providers.
After reading my post, a woman booked a free consultation with me, thanking me for my honesty and telling me how she too was scammed in the past. After hearing her story, I knew that I had to make things right for her. I used my expertise to help her launch her digital course, which was delayed for over a year due to the previous service provider’s lack of commitment and professionalism.
Our project started in December, and together we built an amazing and comprehensive quiz funnel with four individual results, as well as an extensive sales funnel. Seeing my client’s trust restored and exceeding her expectations was a joy beyond words.
As a service provider, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives. This success story is a testament to the power of honesty, trust, and expertise in delivering exceptional customer service.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
Initially, I saw my side hustle as a means of supplementing my income and providing for my family. Little did I know, it would become my primary source of employment – one that I’m extremely grateful for.
My journey began in March 2020, amidst the early stages of the Covid pandemic. I had been working full-time for a retail store for over a decade. Despite my tenure, I had grown to despise my job and was eager to explore other options. Unfortunately, having spent most of my life in Germany (from the ages 5-30), without a college degree, it was difficult to find a job that paid well in Northern Virginia,
When Covid hit, my employer closed down for three months, and upon reopening, I was offered hours that were not manageable for me. As a military family with young children and no nearby family to help with childcare, I had to decline. I was left with no job prospects, and did not know about the online business industry yet.
It wasn’t until a friend introduced me to the idea of becoming a virtual assistant that I began researching the field. I found an online course teaching moms how to earn money from home while caring for their children, and decided to give it a shot. Following completion of the 12-week program, I landed my first client – a virtual assistant job for $15/hour. This experience led me to discover Kajabi, an online platform that piqued my interest and motivated me to pursue a career working with it.
With my sights set on Kajabi, I set out to support my clients with their Kajabi-related needs. I quickly gained momentum and secured many clients to help with their Kajabi websites, sales pages, email automations, and workflows. Word spread of my excellent services, and since summer 2021, I’ve been fully booked for months in advance.
It’s amazing to think that what started as a way to work from home and support my family has transformed into a fulfilling and successful career.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Establishing an authentic and heartfelt connection while cultivating sincere relationships has always been a priority for me. I have a genuine interest in others and make it a point to actively listen when someone is willing to open up and share their thoughts. As a female entrepreneur, I enjoy connecting with others who share similar interests, and this led me to engage in numerous “coffee chats” when I first started my business. For those who are unfamiliar, a coffee chat is a networking call aimed at establishing relationships with potential referral partners and other online business owners.
Through my participation in a coaching program, I received guidance to speak with anyone who showed interest, and I followed that advice with enthusiasm. These conversations allowed me to connect with many incredible female entrepreneurs and learn about their personal lives, as well as their businesses.
My extensive network helped me gain a reputation for providing quality Kajabi services. I often connect with potential clients through Facebook groups, where I am highly active. By answering questions and offering advice in the Kajabi Facebook group, I help others and showcase my expertise, which leads to increased awareness of my services. Many people who reach out to me on Facebook messenger end up booking a consultation and ultimately become my clients.
Overall, building genuine relationships has proven to be the most effective way of expanding my client base.
