From the outset, I recognized the importance of establishing strong connections with potential clients, so I began by reaching out through email and cold-calling various brokerages.
To capture their attention, we offered to sponsor breakfasts for their real estate agents, providing us with an invaluable opportunity to introduce Replay Listings as an innovative tool that could simplify their daily lives and enhance their interactions with prospects. These presentations have proven to be the most effective way for us to acquire new clients, and for good reason.
Not only is this approach cost-effective, but it also allows me to directly interact with our customers, gaining valuable insights into their needs and pain points. Through face-to-face interactions, I am able to understand their unique challenges and showcase how Replay Listings can address these concerns.

Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?
Navigating through challenging times is an inevitable part of any business journey, and Replay Listings has certainly faced its fair share of near-death moments. One such critical juncture was at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the world came to a standstill, and our business faced unprecedented obstacles.
As a platform reliant on real estate agents creating video content for available properties, the pandemic-induced lockdowns meant that everyone was confined to their homes. Consequently, there was a sharp decline in video uploads, and we hit a low point. It was a time of uncertainty, and the future of our business seemed uncertain.
However, even in the darkest moments, opportunities often present themselves in unexpected ways. During this challenging period, something extraordinary happened – we found ourselves sitting on a goldmine of over 10,000 videos of apartments for rent in New York. While others struggled to adapt to the new normal, we possessed a vast repository of valuable content that clients desperately needed.
This newfound asset attracted the attention of top real estate leaders, including CEOs of the biggest brokerages in the world. In the span of one week, my phone was buzzing with calls and texts from these industry titans, eager to explore collaboration opportunities. It was a high point that validated our commitment to innovation and resilience during adversity.
However, the euphoria was short-lived. As quickly as the calls came pouring in, the CEOs seemed to have found their solutions elsewhere. My attempts to reach out were met with silence, and I found myself grappling with the swift change of tides. It was a humbling reminder that in the ever-changing landscape of business, success and rejection can be closely intertwined.
Through these rollercoaster experiences, I learned valuable lessons that continue to shape our approach to business. The pandemic taught me the importance of making swift decisions, even in uncertain times. Life can change in an instant, and being adaptable and resourceful is essential for survival.
Resilience became our guiding principle, as we embraced the mantra of making the most out of every circumstance life presents. The highs and lows taught us to appreciate the moments of triumph and to stand tall during periods of adversity. We understood that every fall is an opportunity to rise stronger and wiser.
Amid the uncertainties, we held onto hope and kept fighting for our vision. We learned that even in the darkest times, there might be a glimmer of light right around the corner. Our determination never wavered, and we forged ahead, fuelled by the belief that our platform had the potential to make a significant impact on the real estate industry.
