Hi RODERICK, thanks for joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
I have been creating music for most of my life. I knew at an early age that music was a part of me. I love to create and use music as a tool to express myself, it’s therapeutic for me.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
My journey is still being traveled. There have been highs and lows along my journey, but I continue to keep driving. Being a Mississippi artist is extremely difficult, but you have to accept the challenge and each song continue to get better and never stop believing in your gift to reach others. Through all the ups and downs I continue to use my God given talent to inspire other artists and deliver messages through my music.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is knowing that my music reached someone and made a difference in their life. To have someone that you’ve never met listen to something that I created and quote my lyrics is priceless. That alone motivates me to keep going. If I’m able to influence other artists to believe that they too can achieve the journey has been worth it.
