We recently connected with Rochelle Williams and have shared our conversation below.
Rochelle , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
What I think it takes to be successful is just being you and listening to your audience. Never giving up and staying motivated. Not scared to take risk but always staying genuine.

Rochelle , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
So, my name is Rochelle and I am online boutique owner for Women clothing. I am dedicated mostly to plus size women and a bestfriend section for my smaller sizes. I decided to open my own boutique because I felt it was becoming hard to find clothes I like that’s really affordable with great quality.
With me opening Stacked and Curvy I am determined to sell clothes for realistic curves with great quality at affordable prices. Staying consistent with what my ladies are looking for with good customers service that keeps them coming back.
Seeeing customers keep coming back or having someone they know shop with me keeps a smile on my face. I mean, would you keep shopping or referring people to somewhere you really don’t like? Lol.
I’ll like to strive to meeting everyone needs and always open to suggestions. I would like ladies to feel comfortable and satisfied after shopping with me. I am always learning ways to perfect my craft, so everything will always get better with time.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Learning your audience is one of the biggest ways to make your business successful. Who is your target audience? Age? Sex? Lifestyle? Interest? Etc. Once, you learn that, promoting your business will become easier.
I learned my audience because I knew who I was selling for and also listening to their needs. Looking at other plus size pages and people to see what the ladies are looking for. With that I incorporated that into my business.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
For me, the most effective strategy is communication. Always having great communication, providing details, and answering questions. You might have people asked the same multiple questions but that’s apart of the business. People want to feel comfortable with shopping online. Especially with a new business. Also, offering incentives for customers who sign up for email marketing or spend over a certain amount. Who don’t like free stuff or saving money?
