We recently connected with Rochel Marie Lawson and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Rochel Marie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
The risk I took was to start a business when I already had a flourishing career as a Registered Nurse working in the Emergency Department with trauma patients. One night after a long, busy, tenous shift, I decided that there was more to life. I had been thinking about starting my own business however, on this particular morning, after finishing my shift, I decided that I could do a lot for people If I relieved myself of the constraints of what my employer had implemented and set out on my own to help people make changes in their life that allowed them to live the life of their dreams. I knew that there were three things that matter most when it came to living the life of one’s dreams, wellness- which is our greatest asset, wisdom, which allows one to make decisions about their life that enhance their life and wealth, which everyone views as one of the most important aspects of life. After my night shift, I walked out into the sunlight that morning and decided enough was enough. I went straight to the county office to file a permit to open up my business; the rest is history. That was over 25 years ago. I have taken my business Blissful Living 4 U from an unknown business to a well-known business known for transforming the lives of women and a few very smart men. I have had a successful podcast that is part of Blissful Living 4 U for eleven years. I hold high-level intensive dream life transformation retreats. I am a speaker that has spoken around the world. I have been interviewed by major media outlets. I hold events around the USA and am a multiple international best-selling author. I am transforming lives, and it feels amazing to witness the transformations. To think, all those years ago, I risked having the safety of a solid career in nursing while making excellent money while helping to save lives to step out on my own to do something that I knew would be successful without having any proof that I would succeed was a big risk. I had a husband and small children that depended on me, but I did it any way and today I am happy to say I so glad I took that risk on ME!
Rochel Marie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a Dream Lifestyle Transformation Facilitator. I assist women and men in stepping into having and living the life of their dreams. I assist my clients with unlocking what holds them back from experiencing the true BLISS in life. We peel back the layers and get o the hidden aspects of what is holding them back in the areas of their wellness ( our greatest asset), their wisdom ( mindset challenges), and their wealth ( to build, sustain and grow ). I work with clients one to one, in a group, or via a private intensive retreat at a luxurious location.
What sets me apart from others is that I work with those I am meant to serve in a compassionate but very direct way. The work can be intense however the results are well worth it. I intuitively guide my clients to dig deep, so the removal of all that is blocking them from BLISS can be revealed, released, healed, and transformed. There is no better feeling in the world than having an orgasm that can get a person to this state of BLISS.
Once this occurs, the client can have and live a life of BLISS. They can truly transform their life beyond their wildest dreams, which feels amazing and what I enjoy seeing my clients experience.
I have a podcast called the Blissful Living Podcast, where I bring on guests to talk about ways to unlock your bliss in wellness, wisdom, and wealth.
I have a co-hosted radio show called Real Talk, where we discuss issues affecting women in today’s society.
I hold an event called The Brave, Bold, and Unstoppable Women’s Summit™ that is focused on helping women connect,
collaborate, network, support, strengthen and unify so that we can create change to make the world a better place. Part of the proceeds from this event goes towards supporting our women veterans.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
There are several books that I have read that have had an impact on me and how I live my life and run my businesses.

Think and Grow Rich For Women by Sharon Lechter
Do You Quantum Think? by Dianne Collins
Creating on Purpose by Anodea Judith and Lion Goodman
The Game of Life and How to Play it by Florence Scovel Shinn

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Having a blueprint for what you want to do in life. Taking action and not being afraid to fail because there is no such thing as failure. There are only lessons learned on how not to do something or how to do something better. Being brave, bold, and unstoppable is a must if what you desire is your dream. One should never ever give up on their dreams. Surround yourself with a group that supports you but keeps it real for you and get a mentor that will push you to go beyond what you thought was possible however you have to have it within you to do whatever it takes to accomplish that which you desire.
