Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Robnitia Weekley. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Robnitia , thanks for joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
The Notary Nook was born out of a blend of necessity, passion, and a vision for a more connected and supportive notary community. My journey began when I noticed a gap in the notary services industry: while there were plenty of notaries, there wasn’t a central hub where notaries could come together to share experiences, seek advice, and support each other. It felt like there was a missing piece—a place where notaries could not only find practical solutions but also engage in meaningful conversations and build a network.
As someone deeply involved in the notary world through my own business, Stamped For You LLC Notary, I saw firsthand the challenges that many notaries faced—whether it was navigating complex regulations, managing client relationships, or simply feeling isolated in their roles. I wanted to create something that would address these challenges head-on and provide a sense of community and camaraderie.
The idea for The Notary Nook emerged from this need for a collaborative space. I envisioned it as more than just a group or a forum; I saw it as a vibrant community where notaries could gather, exchange ideas, and support each other. The excitement for me was in the potential to transform the way notaries interact and grow. It wasn’t just about offering a service; it was about building a network that could make a real difference in our professional lives.
The logic behind why I believed this would work was simple: every industry thrives on community. From my experience, I knew that when people come together, they create value that far exceeds what any single individual could achieve alone. The Notary Nook was designed to fill a void in the industry by offering a unique approach—an interactive platform where notaries could connect, learn, and grow together.
I was driven by the idea that a supportive community could help notaries not only tackle day-to-day challenges but also achieve personal and professional growth. Seeing the enthusiasm and engagement from the members validated the concept and reinforced my belief that this was indeed a worthwhile endeavor.
In essence, The Notary Nook is not just a business idea; it’s a reflection of my commitment to fostering a strong, supportive, and engaged notary community. It’s about solving a real problem—creating a space where notaries can thrive together—and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see that vision come to life.

Robnitia , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
A few years ago, while managing my notarial business, Stamped For You LLC Notary, I noticed a recurring issue among fellow notaries: a lack of centralized support and connection. This observation inspired me to pivot from focusing solely on individual notarial services to creating something that could address this gap. The idea was to establish a community where notaries could connect, share experiences, and support each other.
This pivot required a significant shift in my approach. I had to reallocate my time and resources from my established practice to build Notary Nook. This meant learning new skills related to community building, networking, and online engagement, all of which were outside my initial expertise. Additionally, I reached out to other notaries and industry professionals for insights and support, which was crucial in shaping Notary Nook into a valuable resource for the notarial community.
The results of this transition have been profoundly rewarding. Notary Nook has evolved into a vibrant community where notaries from diverse backgrounds come together to exchange knowledge and celebrate their achievements. Although the shift presented challenges, it allowed me to create a platform that truly meets the needs of notaries and fosters a supportive environment. This experience reinforced the importance of embracing change and listening to the needs of the community, demonstrating that taking risks and pursuing new opportunities can lead to meaningful and impactful outcomes.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Building an audience on social media was a gradual but fulfilling journey for me. When I first ventured into social media for my business, Stamped For You LLC Notary, and later for Notary Nook, I knew I needed a clear strategy to connect with people who shared my interests and goals. My approach began with establishing a consistent and professional presence across key platforms like Instagram and Facebook. I focused on creating valuable content related to notarial services, industry insights, and engaging community events. Interaction was crucial, so I made sure to respond to comments, participate in discussions, and ask for feedback.
An effective strategy that helped me grow my audience was leveraging partnerships and collaborations. By reaching out to other notaries and industry experts for joint activities, such as guest posts or collaborative events, I was able to expose my profiles to new audiences and build credibility. Hosting engaging activities, like challenges and contests, kept my existing audience active and attracted new followers through word-of-mouth and shares.
For those starting to build a social media presence, my advice is to first define your niche and target audience, tailoring your content to their interests and needs. Consistency in posting and branding is essential for recognition and trust. Engage with your audience by responding to comments and participating in conversations, and use analytics to adjust your strategy based on performance metrics. Collaborate with others in your industry to reach a broader audience and always stay authentic, sharing genuine experiences and insights. By focusing on these strategies, you can build a strong social media presence that supports your business goals and connects with your audience effectively.
