Hi Roberto , thanks for joining us today. Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?
As a blogger with a following in digital media, I have been told many times to define myself and my writings. My response was that I am a blogger who dedicates his time to sports [soccer] and artists with certain artistic videos in the realm of Postmodern Existentialism. The response of others to my comments were acceptance with certain exceptions [You cannot please everybody].
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As a US Latin born in Ohio and raised around the world, my blog in Spanish [El Noticiero RCAG] and English [the AG News Show] was formed with the intention of offering an alternative to Mainstream Media in sports and culture. In sports [especially soccer] and culture, we would be talking about subjects that are ignored. I also interview and give publicity to Independent Artists who never receive the publicity and dignity they deserve because the same Giant medias do not allow it
How did you build your audience on social media?
I treated my invited guests and audience with the dignity and respect they deserve. This is the way to build trust and grow your brand. For those who want to grow their presence in social media, dignity and respect goes a long way.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Go to the shows [of Independent Artists] buy their music recorded on vinyl, CD, cassette instead of going digital [unless you are in a form of transportation]. Promote their music and art.
