We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Robert Vandewiele. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Robert below.

Robert, appreciate you joining us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?

I would have started getting into music way sooner. I always had a guitar but, I never really tried to play with people. I had friends in bands but, I never tried to get involved even though my life was always full of music. The main reason I wish I could go back earlier is all of the memories and the friendships that can be made. I could have 10 more years of experience and knowledge if I had just tried.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I started playing guitar in a band called At Water in 2021. After a year or so I decided to start “Limitless Productions” a booking company and start recording bands as well all for many different reasons. I am also now playing guitar in another band called Nothing After This. Both bands are playing all over Michigan and looking to get out of State ASAP. I offer Booking and Promoting for shows in Michigan under Limitless Productions. I’m mainly connected with the heavy bands around here but I am always looking for more bands.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My whole goal and purpose of starting Limitless was “To create connections between bands and venues to build an ever growing local music community”
There is so much networking to be done and I’m trying to bring everyone together so they can find more bands they like, more venues to play, and ultimately gain fans!

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I can honestly say there has been a re occurring theme here and it’s the people you meet along the way.
The other bands members become your friends, the fans, the promoters even the bartenders want to see you again as long as you’re respectful. All of these shows are full of positivity and acceptance. The people, the music and the memories are amazing and everlasting.
