The story behind scaling up glasses + fields group is far from an overnight success—it’s a testament to years of persistence, hard work, and figuring out our place in a competitive market. When I first started my career, I didn’t have any connections, so I relied on good old-fashioned grit. For two years, I cold-called every single day. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me discipline and resilience, and I slowly began to build a network and a client base.
The real turning point came when my partner, Lauren, and I discovered our niche: Tenants in Common (TIC). At the time, TICs were relatively under the radar in Los Angeles, and we realized there was a huge opportunity to help people access updated, stylish homes at a more affordable price point. We immersed ourselves in this space—learning everything we could about the process, building relationships with developers and lenders, and educating buyers about fractional loans and the benefits of TIC ownership.
Once we leaned into this niche, things started to take off. Specializing in TICs gave us a focus and a competitive edge that really set us apart. Our expertise allowed us to connect with like-minded buyers and developers, creating opportunities that weren’t available in traditional markets. We also doubled down on using technology to streamline processes and reach new audiences, like leveraging social media and exclusive off-market listings to give our clients an edge.

We are the TIC pioneers of Los Angeles, helping developers transform their properties into TICs and guiding buyers through the unique aspects of these transactions. Lauren and I met during a time when the world was slowly finding its footing again—restaurants were just starting to open back up during covid. A mutual friend, who also happened to be a client of mine, introduced us, and from the very first conversation, we just clicked. Neither of us knew it at the time, but we were both separately looking for a partner to grow alongside in our real estate careers.
Over the next year, we became closer as friends, bonding over shared stories from our separate deals and grabbing dinner whenever our schedules aligned. It was refreshing to connect with someone who shared not only similar values but also a strikingly similar approach to how we worked. We built a strong friendship before ever doing a deal together, which laid the groundwork for the incredible partnership we have today.
Our first deal as partners felt seamless—working with Lauren was like working with a mirror image of myself. It quickly became clear that we complemented each other perfectly, both personally and professionally. From that moment on, there was no looking back.
Now, almost three years into our partnership, I couldn’t be more excited about what we’ve built together with glasses + fields group and what the future holds. Building a strong reputation in a competitive market like Los Angeles takes consistent effort, authenticity, and a clear commitment to putting clients first. For me, one of the biggest contributors has been a relentless focus on relationships. From the start of my career, I’ve made it a priority to connect with people in a genuine way—whether it’s by listening to their needs, educating them on the market, or advocating for them during negotiations.
Another key factor is specialization. My partner Lauren and I have become known as the TIC (tenants in common) pioneers of LA, helping developers turn their properties into TICs and guiding buyers through what can be a complex process. By becoming experts in this niche, we’ve built trust and credibility within a unique segment of the market, setting ourselves apart from other realtors.
Transparency has also been instrumental. I believe that trust is earned, and my clients know they can count on me to always keep their best interests at the forefront.
