We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rita Luvi Luvi. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rita Luvi below.
Alright, Rita Luvi thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Are you happier as a creative? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job? Can you talk to us about how you think through these emotions?
Am I happier as an artist or creative?
I can’t separate these concepts—they’re one and the same for me. I am happy IN creativity as an artist.
Would I like to have a more stable job?
I often think about this question when I face difficulties. In Slavic countries, there’s a funny saying: “A wife who’s an artist is a tragedy for the family.” I can’t help but laugh every time I remember it—it feels oddly relatable!
About a “stable job”:
Absolutely, yes! But could I do anything other than creative work? Definitely not. My profession isn’t just a job—it’s my calling, my identity. Whenever I try to step away from creativity, I feel like I’m losing my spark. But when I’m creating, I feel alive and truly myself.
At this stage of my life, I’m exploring how I can combine my creative passion with the stability of a “regular job.” It feels like a new challenge, but one that could open up even more opportunities for growth and fulfillment.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Rita Luvi, and I’m a graphic designer and illustrator with over 10 years of experience and master’s degree in art. I specialize in branding, packaging design, and illustration, creating unique visual identities that help brands connect with their audiences. My style combines bold, simple shapes with bright colors and detailed pencil illustrations, making each project distinctive and memorable.
What sets me apart is my ability to balance creativity with strategy, delivering designs that are both visually striking and effective. I approach every project with attention to detail, a deep understanding of my clients’ needs, and a passion for storytelling through design. I’m proud to help businesses communicate their values, stand out in their industries, and create meaningful connections with their customers.
In my free time, I enjoy painting, running a small handmade candle business, and teaching private art lessons to children. These activities fuel my creativity and bring balance to my professional life, allowing me to explore different forms of artistic expression.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding aspect is making the world better and more beautiful through my work and vision. I love bringing meaningful ideas to life and seeing them realized—in brochures, advertisements, on T-shirts, or business cards. That fulfillment is unmatched.
Another deeply rewarding aspect is teaching. Sharing my experience, helping others discover their strengths, and watching them grow is incredibly gratifying, especially when working with children. Guiding them on their creative journeys is truly the most rewarding work.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Honestly, I believe the U.S. does a great job supporting creativity and artists! There are countless resources, competitions, exhibitions, and platforms where creatives can showcase their work. Art fairs and exhibitions are also widely attended, with people eager to support artists. The opportunities are endless—you just need to take advantage of them! Show yourself and people will support you!
