Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rita Louise. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rita, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
From a young age, I wanted to be able to tap into intuitive wisdom. I began reading any book I could find relating to this topic. I believed that somewhere within those pages was the answer I was looking for that would key me into this unseen realm. I studied for years and never felt any closer to my goal.
It was one summer, many years ago, that I happened upon a psychic fair. I thought, certainly, someone there could become my teacher, my mentor. It was then that I discovered the Berkeley Psychic Institute and immediately signed up for one of there introductory courses. It wasn’t much after that where I signed up for their full year long training program.
I was only about 3 weeks into the program when I had a moment that changed the trajectory of my life and brought so much of it into focus.
I was working with a group of other intuitive psychics doing a reading on a client. I was so new in the program that I didn’t feel like I knew what I was doing, but this one lady who came for a session changed all of that. She was having problems at her beauty salon, where she was loosing clientele, which concerned her greatly.
The other more advanced students started talking to her about her past life agreements regarding this, and her present life agreements regarding that. Personally, I couldn’t see how any of this information would help her bring people into her establishment.
As they conveyed their information, I kept seeing, in my mind’s eye, a woman with long red hair walking up to a workstation and angrily slamming down her purse. I asked the client if she had someone with long red hair working for her and if she had angrily left employment there. I conveyed this information with my eyes closes, paying attention instead to what I was seeing in my head. The shop owner confirmed my inner vision. I thought that what I had experienced was a very cool coincidence and didn’t think much of it.
It was then that I opened my eyes and the entire row of students were bent over looking down the row staring at me. It was then that I came to the understanding of what an intuitive experience was all about. It also brought to light, in hindsight, a large number of, what I thought were weird synchronicities, were in fact intuitive experiences.
I never looked back or doubted myself after that day. What I did felt natural to me and was something I had done my whole life. I no longer needed to search for the elusive intuitive moment, I had been having them my whole life.
Rita, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Dr. Rita Louise. My primary work is as a medical intuitive and Naturopathic physician. A medical intuitive, using their intuition can look deep into the body and detect health concerns. They can also provide insights into the emotional triggers that underlie the health concern in the first place.
As a Naturopath and intuitive counselor, I provide my clients with in-depth guidance on how to restore their health. This might include herbs and supplements, dietary and lifestyle changes as well as guidance on how to heal emotional wounds that have plagued them throughout their lives. So whether it is a physical problem, an emotional issue, I can help you gain clarity on what is going on and provide holistic insights and steps to reclaiming your health.
I have worked with thousands of clients worldwide with undiagnosed health problems. I have assisted individuals who traditional allopathic medical doctors were unable to help. I have provided a second opinion to people who have challenging health decisions to make. I have also worked with people who want to care for their bodies in a natural way.
I joke around and tell potential clients that their is nothing too weird or unconventional that they could say or bring to the table that would keep me from working with them.
Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
If I could turn back time I do not think I would change a thing. Years ago, when I was still working in the traditional work force, I had a manager who said “If you love what you do, the money doesn’t matter”. I didn’t love that job and yearned to do my intuitive work full time. It was only a few weeks later that I quit that job and started my private practice. I love what I do, and he was right, even if it felt like I was only making a penny an hour, it didn’t matter. I never looked back.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Over they years I have done a lot of work building by business and as part of that, my reputation. I have written over 500 articles covering a variety of topics that have been published in print and online around the world. I have authored 6 book, appeared on countless radio shows, hosted my own radio show, spoken at conferences, appeared on film and on television.
The biggest thing that I believe helped me was my persistence. If no one know about you, your product or services, your phone will never ring. I have learned it is not a one time thing. If you fall out of the public eye, people will forget about you, so it to me, is an ongoing process.
