Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Riley Macc. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Riley, appreciate you joining us today. Are you happier as a creative? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job? Can you talk to us about how you think through these emotions?
Being that i’m in my first month of doing music full time, i would say i love music and it’s always consumed all of my time so i guess it feels normal. Outside of that it’s the feeling anybody doing something creative or risky gets, Failure. I have a high belief in myself but it’s always a small thought.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
I personally think some non-creatives (not all) think it’s a dead end. The music industry is a huge machine there is lots of places for people to make money, and build a foundation for the future.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Well i started and immediately i had 800+ views from people at my school i became a topic, at the time it didn’t feel great but it built character and some think skin. No matter what i kept growing and doing my thing.
