We were lucky to catch up with Riley Hardwick recently and have shared our conversation below.
Riley, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I would love for people to remember as someone who wasn’t scared to say or do the hard things. I am very open about who I am, where I’ve come from, and where I intend to go.

I am a few things. I am a wife & my mom but I am also a wedding photographer who has struggled to make her business thrive in this market & competition that is around me. I am also someone who has grown a following on TikTok for telling my story but what a lot of people don’t know is that is there is SO much more I want to tell. Business & personal.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I was married at 19 to someone who turned out to be very abusive & narcissistic. That sent me back a thousand steps on who I wanted to be and what I wanted to go. By the grace of God I had the courage to get out of that situation with my son and bring back my passions and continue them from those backtracks.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I started my social media seriously whenever I told the story of my marriage, even while I was still in the midst of it. I had so many people reach out for advice & for encouragement. And even though my page isn’t strictly about that anymore, it built a community online so show people what happens after. So my advice would be speak your truth and tell your story. Be nice to yourself & let yourself make mistakes because that shows people your vulnerability & a real person behind the screen.
