We were lucky to catch up with Rika Wildlee recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Rika, thanks for joining us today. Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?
Unfortunately Have Not Yet Been Able To Make A Full Time Living With Pro Wrestling But That Is The Goal. I Push Myself Daily On All Types Of Social Media Putting Eyes On My Work & Weekly Traveling The Country Performing In Front Of Thousands Of People A Month So That It Will Eventually Help Me Succeed In Making This Dream I’ve Been Chasing For Years A Full Time Finacial Success & Reality.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Since I Was A Kid Its Literally All Ive Ever Wanted To Be And Even Tho Life Took Its Own Course I Never Steered Away From That Goal & The Passion Of One Day Performing Under The Bright Lights & Hearing The Cheers Of The Crowd.
Now I’m 34 Years Old & Travel The Country Wrestling For Multiple Different Companies & Pushing To Inspire Younger Generations To Chase Thier Dreams As Well What Ever They May Be. Always Showing Each Person I Come Across Your Dream Is Just A Step Away & You Are the Only Thing That Stops You From Achieving It. If Its In Your Heart You Can Do It & Let Nothing Stand In Your Way.
I Am Most Proud Of My Work Knowing It Shows My Son He Can Succeed In His Own Life Teaching Him Nothing Is Impossible With The Right Drive, Passion & Persistence.
I Have Created Myself As Not Only A Pro Wrestler/Performance Artist But As A Brand Making Sure There Will Always Be Doors Opening In Multiple Avenues Of Business. Never Boxing Myself Into One Certain Genre.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I’ve Always Been An Daily Social Media Influencer Even Before The Term “Influencer” Was Made.
I Never Listened To The Doubters Even Tho They Told Me It Was Stupid ,A Waste Of Time & Nothing Would Ever Come Of It.
As Far As Advice For People Wanting To Gain An Audience & Build Thier Own Brand Through Social Medias
It’s Really Simple.
1. POST DAILY.
(Make Time EVERYDAY To Set Posts. It Keeps Your Page Or Profile In Good Standings & Showing The Social Media World You’re Active & Always Available.)
2. DON’T GET DISCOURAGED BECAUSE OF NEGATIVE COMMENTS OR LOSING A FOLLOWER.
(Understand Its All A Journey & It Won’t Happen Over Night.
The Ones That Stay Around While You Push & Persue Your Business & Passions Are The Ones In The End That Were Ment To Be There.
The Others Never Truly Supported To Begin With.)

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Whats The Most Rewarding For Me Is Watching Others Become Inspired To Chase Thier Own Passions By Seeing Me Chase Mine. It Was Never The Intent To Inspire The World But Watching Someone Succeed & Then Reach Out & Tell Me That They Gave It A Shot Because I Inspired Them To Take That Risk. That There Is True Blessing & You Can’t Put A Price On That.
