Alright, Rickey thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Our mission for Intellect Visuals is to empower clients in creating and enhancing their unique through the art of videography. We provide exceptional guidance, training, and resources to enable our clients to effectively communicate their message, showcase their products or services, and build a strong brand identity. Our dedicated team of experts combines technical expertise with creative solutions to deliver high-quality video content that captures the essence of our clients’ vision and resonates with their target audience. Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I started my business in 2013. I first started off learning photography and later in 2018 decided to change over to doing videography full time. I still enjoy photography but my passion for videography grew from a place of enjoying the editing process of joining cinematic clips together to create a story. Not only that but because i understand the role of being a videographer, i understand the importance of effectively communicating and visually showcasing a message or story through the power of video. I understand the importance of capturing moments, emotions, and details in a way that engages and captivates the audience. Whether it’s a promotional video, documentary, event coverage, or any other type of video production, videographers have the skills and expertise to bring ideas to life and deliver a compelling visual experience. It’s important that i am able to navigate technical challenges, such as lighting, sound, and editing, to ensure that the final product is professional, polished, and impactful. Videographers play a crucial role in helping individuals, businesses, and organizations effectively convey their message and connect with their target audience through the medium of video.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

What helped me build my clientele is the fact that i like to teach my clients during the time they book me. I feel like the greatest thing my clients receive when booking me is not just high definition content to use at their own convenience. But they receive knowledge of what will make their brand grow in a major way. Using this method have made clients feel like they are not just paying for a service, but also knowledge they can use when it comes to branding themselves.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

Although you are the person that’s in charge, it’s always important to listen to your team. Being a manager and listening to your team is of utmost importance for various reasons. Firstly, when you listen to your team members, you create an environment of trust and respect. By actively listening to their ideas, concerns, and feedback, you show that you value their input and opinions. This fosters a sense of belonging and ownership among team members, leading to increased job satisfaction and motivation.

Additionally, listening to your team allows you to gain valuable insights and perspectives. Your team members bring diverse experiences and knowledge to the table, and by listening to them, you have access to a wealth of ideas and suggestions. This can lead to more informed decision-making and innovative solutions to challenges or problems.

Furthermore, when you listen to your team, you demonstrate empathy and support. It shows that you care about their well-being and are willing to understand their needs and challenges. This can enhance team morale and create a positive work culture where individuals feel comfortable expressing themselves and seeking help when needed.
