Today we’d like to introduce you to Rick Warner.
Hi Rick, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Well my life has been definitely quite the journey. My position both as an Executive Director and founder for ERC- Extraterrestrial Research Center and my other position as Lead Investigator and Director of Client Relations for Phantom Detectives Paranormal Research Center among other titles all started out with my first experience as a child seeing what appeared to be as what is called a UFO but more commonly known now as UAP-Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon. I was with my mother and her friend at the time when I saw the flying object that quickly moved fast across the sky at lightening speed but then I realize that it move way to quickly to be a made made craft and there wasn’t any heat source what so ever. I didn’t tell kids at school at the time in fear of being ridiculed. As I grew up I always had a growing interest in both the ghostly paranormal and the extraterrestrial. A few years back I was invited to join a paranormal investigation at the Betsy Ross House in Philly, PA. as the Director of the organization had told me that he could use my skills as an interviewer, researcher, and a as a certified field UFO investigator. During the investigation I didn’t know how much I would really enjoy doing a paranormal investigation. I found out that I was a very good fit and really enjoyed conducting a paranormal investigation since I just love to investigate to begin with. Our team quickly climbed the ladder to fame and I always new in my heart that we would become famous and were not quite there yet but heading that direction. At the same time I decided that also loved being a UFO/UAP investigator so much that I decided that I wanted to start my own organization. Both organizations have grown quite quickly and fast forward a few years and since we started and I started ERC, we have appeared in lots of radio shows and podcasts, magazines, newspapers, TV news segments as well as many public appearances and public lectures. Being successful will not chance the person that I am as I don’t see myself as thinking I’m better than everyone else as I’m always looking to improve upon myself in everything I do. I don’t see myself as being perfect but rather a man that stives for perfection.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There were a few obstacle’s along the way but I never quit trying nor did my team. I always try of overcome adversity and not let it win over me.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My organization is a non profit organization and my goal in to educate and spread the word about the extraterrestrial subject matter. It’s not about trying to change other peoples belief but rather try to present facts about cases showing data to prove or disprove a case all while educating and sharing knowledge. We don’t charge for our services. I’m pleased and honored about the people I’ve met along the way and I’m always about networking with others.
Any big plans?
Well since I juggle so many hats my time gets limited and so I’m careful to not bite off more than I can chew but sometimes I do try to take no more than I can handle. Not big changes really but looking forward to possibly getting a TV show contract and If myself or with my team that doesn’t happen, then that’s ok since we all love what we do and that’s helping people to get answers about there case.
