We were lucky to catch up with Richard Porche recently and have shared our conversation below.

Richard, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

RighteousPeopleWorldWide is my Athletic program as well as my clothing line. I started my clothing Line because I wanted people to feel good. I also wanted everyone to know that they are perfectly made by God! I started my sports program because I believe Sports saved my life. We serve grades Kinder through 5th grade. I believe younger children are like wet cement, anything you put inside them will stick! Through my program we instill grit, determination, discipline, and Confidence! Ultimately my Coaching staff and I get to be what we needed as young kids growing up. It’s an awesome feeling to heal your inner child, while also motivating young kids to chase after their dreams, no matter what.

Richard, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Ri-chard Porche’ I’m from New Orleans, LA! Sports and Fashion have always been a part of my life as Coach Prime says you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play well. If you play good, they pay good.” Growing up I never really believed in myself, it was often hard for me to grasp the idea that I was perfectly made. Playing sports year after year, growing and learning, I began to believe in myself! I began to trust God with my life! I got the opportunity to play football in High school as well as college. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne university in 2015. After graduating and being denied entry into the Air Force because I had a heart murmur, I lost myself. I work multiple jobs here and there that never really served my purpose, but I always believed God had something big for me. In 2017 I began my first Coaching job, and I haven’t looked back since. Reflecting on my life I can honestly say that most of my life consisted of me running away from failure, now I get to chase after what God has for me. My sports program is set apart from others because God is the center of it! I started my program with 50 athletes and three Coaches and now I currently have 300 athletes and over 10 Coaches. We also serve the community through events such as Valentine’s dance, Block party’s and Pep Rally’s! One of the things I’m Most proud of is gaining my master’s degree this past December. I got a chance to show my wife, kids, friends, and my athletes that with God all things are possible if you trust God and work for it! I truly believe that I was placed on the earth to make others better and by doing that I am Blessed. I also want to give a big shoutout to my wife, she’s been such a blessing. I can honestly say Marrying Delilah Porche has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She supports every move I make and is always by my side, good or bad! RighteousPeopleWorldWide will be the #1 Youth Sports and Clothing brand in the world in Jesus Name.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Managing my team is extremely easy because I’m a people’s person. I treat my staff the way I would want to be treated.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I started my sports program and clothing line while driving 1hr and 20mins one way every day for three years. It was miserable.I was also finishing my masters degree while trying to be the best husband and father I could. There was so many times I wanted to quit and give up but when God gives you a vision it’s for you and you only and if God chose you …you have no choice but to WIN! No matter how things look or feel!
