We were lucky to catch up with Richard Musya recently and have shared our conversation below.

Richard , appreciate you joining us today. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made?

My best investment by far has been my camera. I bought a Sony A7iii back in 2020 and it opened many doors for me.

Richard , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

417 is a visual production company that specializes in bringing visual images to life through both photo and video. Photography, music video, and film.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

Social media has by far been my most effective way of growing my business.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I’ve had to pivot a few times with my career. I’ve felt gassed with the camera stuff at times. I’ve found that taking a step back sometimes can be what’s needed at those times, allowing yourself to see everything clearly, then jump back into it with the proper mindset.
