We recently connected with Rich Flee and have shared our conversation below.

Rich , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

I started making music in 2018, when growing up I never wanted to be an artist I actually wanted to be in the NFL or a firefighter but God had a different plan for me. Around 2018 I was in the studio with my friends just being around and eventually got inspired to hop in the booth. After making my first couple of songs, I decided to put my first single out and received a lot of love. That motivated me to get in the studio and keep making more music. As time passed by I kept creating and 2020 changed my life I became more locked in with myself as an artist and started trying new sounds and just revolving not only as an artist but a person aswell. I just released my debut album “ THE LAST HOPE”.

Rich , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My artist name is Rich Flee I got that name from my older brother who inspired me to start making music.When people ask what type of music I make or what type of artist I am, I tell them I’m a popstar I make multiple genres of music ( pop,rnb,hiphop,dance) I never wanted to be boxed in or known for one sound as an artist, which I think seperates me from a lot of artist who stick to one sound . I make music based off how I’m feeling if I’m in a fun mood I like to make something fun and upbeat, if I’m feeling down Ill express what has me down.Music is therapeutic to me, it helps me express myself to the world.I like to help people through my music based off my life experiences because I’m sure a lot of people can relate..

How did you build your audience on social media?

My best advice to someone looking to promote and build a following is tell a story and be authentic. I had to to learn and still learning I need cater to those who are supporting me day in & day out, & to not focus on those who arent. I had to figure out what my audience likes to see from me and what isnt so engaging to them. Most importantly always being myself and not trying to be someone Im not on social media a lot of people can see through that. Last but not least being consistent!

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Best source of new clients outaide of social media platforms (tiktok & instagram) . I would say going out and networking with people in person and selling your product to them. Face to face conversations lead to a moment and you have a better chance of persuading someone to buy into your product.
