Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rhonda Velez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rhonda, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I became a business and financial coach because I saw a gap in education and motivation for entrepreneurs. It can be isolating to be a business owner and good mentorship and accountability is hard to find. I also felt as though we encounter difficulties in our personal lives and it often flows into our professional lives and can often keep us from fulfilling our purpose
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am individual who wears many hats with grace and passion. As a dedicated mom to three beautiful daughters, she cherishes every moment and holds dear the memories of her two living angels, while keeping a special place in her heart for the precious child watching over from heaven.
I have spent over 28 years as a trusted business and financial coach. My mission is clear: to empower entrepreneurs and business-minded individuals, guiding them on the path to building a legacy of generational wealth. I want to help guide others and drive them to success.
My impact extends far beyond my business realm. She is also the visionary Founder of The Tiana Protect, a organization committed to offering support and solace to parents navigating the painful journey after the loss of a child to Neo-natal or early infant death. Through The Tiana Protect, Rhonda provides strength, comfort, and a compassionate space for healing.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In 2002 my daughter Tiana passed away of a heart condition, shortly after returning to my corporate job I found my severance package letter on the photo copy machine. I was devistated to say the least, but with the support of my husband and family I decided that the blows of life wouldn’t shatter me. I dedicated myself to helping other parents who had lost a child by providing them memorial markers and emotional support.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I have a level of empathy and transparency for those I work with. I do my best to understand what people’s stories are to better communicate what they need in their life to grow.
