Impact full and life changing. Through my story, I hope to touch many lives that will give every person who reads my book to be able to share their story. Freeing every person who reads it a freedom to let go of the past and embrace their future. Understanding that forgiveness along with humility produces strength. When someone Shares their story it will also help someone else break free
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Rhonda Proby, author, life Coach, and CEO of Chosen For The Journey Consultants LLC. I first thought about writing my life story 1o years ago however it was just a thought. Then tragedy happened in 2020 and I lost my one and only brother, which prompted me to finally start writing.. little did I know how much I hadn’t properly healed from. Once I began to write, it brought up so many emotions that I wanted to stop writing but, in order to heal I had to face the pain, disappointments, and trauma. So, I kept writing, and talking to people that are a part of my story, my family. I had to forgive and ask for forgiveness while embracing reproof and correction. All the while healing from the inside out. I realized I could only be freed by my testimony, which could lead others to freedom. This alone helped me to continue pushing forward on my journey to share my life story in hopes that it will inspire others.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Hearing about how lives are being changed after connecting to my testimony. For other to see and believe that if I could survive turmoil and trauma, yet still be standing before them by the grace of God they could do the same.
