My name is Rhode Malivert, and I am the founder of K12 Preparatory Academy, which I launched in 2019 after a 15-year career as a Chemical Engineer. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida and an Executive MBA from Rutgers University in Newark, I transitioned into education to create solutions for the challenges families and students face in today’s educational landscape.
K12 Prep Academy is partly veteran-owned, with one of our partners being a U.S. Army combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient. We are proud to serve military families worldwide with our flexible, high-quality programs and offer a dedicated military discount to support their needs. Our programs also include the fastest accredited adult high school diploma program in the country, allowing adults to earn their diploma in just five months from the comfort of their homes. Since our founding, we’ve helped over 2,000 adult students achieve their high school diplomas, empowering them to pursue better career and education opportunities.
In addition to serving adult learners, we provide K-12 programs, dual enrollment in partnership with the University of South Florida (with five graduates in 2024), SAT/ACT preparation, career and college planning, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) for career-ready students.
