We were lucky to catch up with Rhiannon Okoye recently and have shared our conversation below.
Rhiannon, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the best advice you ever gave to a client? How did they benefit / what was the result? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
There are so many wonderful stories I can share with you—client successes, victories, and transformations that I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing and contributing to in some small way. I’ve guided numerous transformations, facilitated countless ‘ah-ha’ moments, and led countless individuals back to their personal power.
Every person I work with experiences life-changing results. Each one embarks on their journey with a unique obstacle, a formidable force they are ready to overcome. It’s a potent starting point.
While it’s difficult to select just one story, many share common themes.
Transitioning out of survival mode, healing chronic illnesses, or discovering the confidence to express one’s gifts all necessitate certain key elements. This includes a willingness to explore and conquer trauma, to overcome barriers to self-trust fostering strong intuition, and to cultivate a new internal relationship grounded in self-love and a holistic mind/body/spirit connection.
The most impactful piece of advice I’ve ever given is something that empowers individuals and guides them toward trust.
Rhiannon, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My journey into the realm of holistic healing and personal development has been rich and varied, shaped by experiences and expertise. I teach a formula that includes a culmination of my studies of healthy and happy people from around the world, drawing from my personal journey of transformation, insights from my clients’ experiences, immersive experiences in Indian ashrams, principles of Western psychology, a Russell Group education, and wisdom derived from ancient rituals.
Over the past decade, I’ve lived a nomadic lifestyle, traveling to over 45 countries, soaking up wisdom from a myriad of cultures and traditions. This eclectic blend of experiences has infused my work with a unique perspective. I’m a healer who was once in deep need of healing. I sought help in all of the ‘right’ places and didn’t find it. This inspired my travels and thirst to learn what ultimate mind-body health looks like.
As a certified hypnotherapist, yoga teacher, healer, and retreat facilitator, I offer a range of transformative services aimed at connecting individuals to their inner wisdom and facilitating profound shifts in consciousness. Through personalized sessions and events, I help clients release trauma, overcome obstacles, and tap into their innate potential to lead lives of purpose and magic.
I live with an unwavering belief in the power of self-healing and the inherent potential within each individual. I don’t just offer solutions; I empower clients to become active participants in their own healing journeys, guiding them to unearth their deepest truths and reclaim their personal power.
I am proud of my ability to help clients break free from the confines of self-doubt. Beyond self-doubt lies the path to survival mode, and stepping into their dream girl era—a time of thriving, self-expression, and unapologetic authenticity. Whether it’s overcoming chronic illness, navigating trauma, or rediscovering their passions, I stand alongside my clients as they embark on their transformative journeys towards wholeness and fulfillment.
What I want potential clients to know is that I’m not just here to offer temporary fixes; I’m here to facilitate profound, lasting change from the inside out. If this resonates, consider this your call to action. I offer three opportunities for 1-1 mentorship per year, as well as some upcoming retreat dates being announced soon.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
So much unlearning and relearning has taken place, and I’m here for all of it.
I was born with a great amount of integrity, confidence, compassion, and audacity. You were too, all babies are. As babies, we have our needs, and they are unquestioned. We even dare to scream until we get those needs met. We are aware of our birthrights, our right to nourishment, love, and safety, to abundance.
Then sometimes we grow older and we are met with societal conditioning, expectations, and limitations that subtly erode our innate sense of self-worth and entitlement to these basic needs. We start to believe that we’re not worthy of our basic needs let alone our wildest dreams, we might forget that we had them altogether.
It happened to me, I forgot for a while. I forgot that I was connected to unlimited possibilities, and now that I remember I am choosing to reach out to the world with my message and help as many people as I can as they unlearn old stories and replace them with better-serving ones. It’s an archaeological excavation of remembrance.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
This question takes on a new dimension when we shift our focus away from employment and towards a life driven by creating a positive impact.
Purpose goes beyond profession.
And life, if you allow it to will show you to your purpose. You won’t be able to escape it, therefore you wouldn’t go back and change anything because you realize that it’s all been leading you to your true purpose. Once you’re living your purpose work isn’t work anymore. This is the realization I experience daily, and it’s one of my key performance indicators (KPIs) that you’ve transitioned from surviving to truly thriving.
