We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Reveng Sairany. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Reveng below.
Alright, Reveng thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
My love for music first began as a child playing the Violin in Orchestra, once I grew older I began DJ’ing college parties and producing music with my friend Mike, from there the passion and love for what I do has only grown.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’ve been a DJ for running on 10 years now, it all started as just a hobby doing something I love and just grew into something more overtime. Throughout the years I’ve released plenty of music and performed shows all over the south east of the United States and even some shows in other countries.
I have also in the past year and half started curating shows called “No Cap” that highlight local art and talent in the city of Atlanta.
What sets me apart is my morals and values, and standing for what’s right/what I believe in regardless of the obstacles I face, and bringing that flavor to my music.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Just being able to express myself freely.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Just by engaging with my fans, providing rather than taking. I worked on building a community called the Mikes Revenge Mob where everyone could share freely anything related to Mikes Revenge as well as releasing free music and doing giveaways.
