Revan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.

In 2021, armed with ambition and a wealth of knowledge from my mentors, I embarked on a daring journey just a year out of dental school. Fueled by the belief that I could create a dental practice embodying honesty, quality care, high end brands, and luxurious but affordable dentistry. I faced the intimidating challenge of believing I could successfully make this unusual dental office concept into reality. With unwavering determination, I worked through the complexities of the model I wanted to incorporate into the dental practice of my dreams. While securing funding and finding the practice that feels the most aligned, I was still working full time as an associate employee for another dental office, ensuring my patients received 100% of my efforts to prioritize their dental health. Sleepless nights, and working 7 days a week to prepare myself for my new entrepreneurship, helped me grow into believing in myself. I was on a full self-realization journey to manifest what I had been dreaming of. Energetically I could feel, my final months approaching at the practice I was associating at.

My personal growth became the catalyst for manifesting my dream. The universe, aligning the stars perfectly, presented the opportunity to acquire a remarkable dental practice in Gilbert, Arizona. As I bid farewell to my associate role, the self-realization journey had prepared me for the leap into entrepreneurship.

With each passing day, Glisten Dental Studio evolved into a haven for exceptional care and a welcoming atmosphere. Our commitment to improving patients’ self-confidence mirrored my own transformative journey. Now, a year and a half later, the dental practice and new team stands tall, a testament to our dedication, passion, and the life-changing impact of believing in oneself. Glisten Dental Studio not only enhances smiles but also elevates the confidence and vibrations of those who walk through its doors.

From a young age, the calling to become a dentist resonated within me. With unwavering determination, I embarked on a journey that led me to earn my bachelor’s in dental hygiene from Northern Arizona University, a stepping stone toward my ultimate goal. My deliberate choice to delve into dental health before dental school showcased a commitment to a comprehensive understanding of oral health.

Now, as a dentist, my unique focus on the mind-body connection sets me apart. Believing that everyone’s self-image originates from how they feel about their smile, I’ve positioned dentistry not just as a profession but as a means to positively impact the confidence and well-being of those we serve. My lifelong dedication to dentistry has not only fulfilled a childhood dream but also positioned me to make a profound difference in the lives of others through the transformative power of a radiant smile.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

Training and knowledge is significant in obtaining a well versed set of skills in dentistry, However, mentorship is a compass in the professional landscape, guiding individuals beyond the realms of formal education. It offers personalized insights, accelerates practical learning, and serves as a wellspring of inspiration. In every field, mentorship isn’t just a helpful component—it’s the transformative force that nurtures growth, resilience, and collective success. I chose a different mentor for each category in dentistry and business ownership. My different mentors, provide a trustworthy and specific platform to ask for guidance based off of their personal experiences.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Building a respectable reputation in dentistry wasn’t just about perfecting clinical skills—it was about embracing honesty and authenticity. Communicating openly with patients, addressing concerns sincerely, and sharing genuine experiences formed the core of my practice. As a result, my reputation flourished not just for dental expertise but for creating a human connection. In the world of oral care, authenticity is the key to lasting relationships and a thriving practice. Not everyone can remember what service was provided to them, but everyone surely remembers how you made them feel.
