We were lucky to catch up with RETRICIA Inman recently and have shared our conversation below.
RETRICIA , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Who is your hero and why? What lessons have you learned from them and how have they influenced your journey?
My heroes are my five kids!! Who I love forever dearly. Lesson I’ve learned from my super heroes is I’m really stronger than what the eye can see. And I say that meaning in numerous ways like mentally spiritually and physically. They influence me so much. I’m an overly caring, loving, pure hearted being. But having them in my life cause to pour those attributes into my kids more. Taking the veil off my eyes. I looked at life from a different perspective because of my kids. You there is no book how to to love, cherish, and raise kids. I’m the oldest of 8. So seeing my mom take care my siblings, taking care my kids came naturally. What what I must introduce the T5’s just a lil nickname I gave my kids collectively speaking. lol However Armoni is my oldest, Klonnie is my second, Corey is the knee baby, Reon is my first son, and Brandon is my baby boy. Whom all I love soooooo much like yessss!!! But yes let stay on course cause that’s a whole another story how I live them all. The T5’s all have beautiful personality that I love so much. They all cause me to want to do right for a change. Live life with an purpose and intentionally. I had my babies and was growing with my babies. My younger years as an adult was wild. I was a free spirit. Living how I wanted. And everyday wasn’t always a typical go work and come home for me. I was (outside) the term people use today basically meaning doing anything outside that possible you needed to be inside lol. Best way to stay out of trouble!!! My kids change that for me. I left my hometown and became the best woman I knew with the knowing I got my 5t’s looking up to me. A mother is the first role model so even with me trying to evolve into a new person. I was mindful how I do things round them. What they see and hear mattered to me. They made put on my best Sunday dress okayyyy!! Which I love so much because I know without a doubt if I didn’t have them I would be somewhere licked away. And having while I’m evolving made me realize how such an strong woman I am. And all the capabilities I have within my self. Being a mother isn’t especially if you more than two. But being an strong woman and mother made me realize they gave me super powers. But wait I have to really Hive the trophy because he orchestrated all this for me and put the mirror in face. And was the one alongside during my life journey. Keeping me living me guiding me and protecting me. Just like there no other like my kids who come from my womb. And the hero’s of my life. I come from God who showed me as well IAM A HERO!! So I be gliding with my supermom cap forever seeking his face. I have a direct call. I be like father I need you because I have all these beautiful babies and I’m overwhelmed and my strength is not full. And then he do his big zap and get me back in alignment with my path of giving 109% to my kids. It’s like iron sharpening iron. But I’m getting the most sharpening which is coool. But yes my storyline is solely of God and my babies being my heroes.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Well, here’s how I got into dispatching: I was trying to figure out a business to start for financial and generational wealth. My partner at the time had an awesome idea about carpooling inmates. Of course, with him sharing his idea, I wanted to figure out how to make that idea come to life. Then I found out about the trucking industry. To go in more depth, I found out about dispatching for trucks. To be of service to millions of different companies worldwide from the comfort of my home sounded amazing. So I did a lot of research on dispatching to see how I can fit into the trucking industry and bring my service. Upon my findings, I realized I can cut the cost for potential clients at a low percentage and guarantee on-time deliveries. I’m most proud of growth because my company is built on resilience and empowerment. Just like in life, we don’t give up no matter the circumstance. That’s how my company operates, not giving up on my client and giving them the best service guaranteed, no matter what.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Sure, why not? Resilience was just a word with no meaning to me after maybe a year of starting my dispatching business. Of course, not having the true skills to run a business, I faced backlash from my business failures, including the business flopping. I was going through a devastating heartache at the time. It caused me to wither away mentally and spiritually. Yes, I can’t believe I’m even writing about this today. That heartache was close to death for me. But then one day, God came and whispered in my ear, “Get up.” I looked around, thinking about how my life had just been ruined, my business had failed, and things weren’t going right for me. And then I heard God say, “Get up.” This time, I got up. When I did, I noticed my Bible was open. So of course, I picked it up and read it. The more I read it, the more I felt God’s presence. That’s when I realized I had to get up and stay up! I started giving more of myself to God, and in return, he started building me up. Eventually, I got back to business. My heart had already been mended, and I saw that I was in love with God. I still am in love with God, my heart is in the right place. I’m in charge of my life and am no longer giving control to others. At this moment, I know the true definition of resilience. no matter what you go through in life to never give up.
We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
I do monthly calls, emails, and sometimes chat with my clients. I’m always offering perks for my loyal clients, like a discount on the next pick price, or offering gift cards while they’re on the road. I’m dealing on one with truckers, so I like to have incentives for them. My word is law. I never would make promises I can’t keep. But I’m willing to always go for the gusto for my clients, all they have to do is drive. safe, of course.
